Dennis and Tony Sitting in a Tree

1 year ago, this would of been close. Not now.

2 weeks ago people thought Scott and Dennis would be close. The money went high and Dennis let the world see something.

I doubt Tony would have been much better off 1 year ago if the bet went high enough to get Dennis to show his true speed.

Alex is the only guy that "maybe" has a chance to win against Dennis in long set big money 1-pocket but Denmis has historically had Alex's number in action and that is to Dennis's advantage.

If Alex cannot get it done we are going to need to get some of the Taiwanese into 1-pocket.

I think the TV table at DCC has a 1 minute shot clock?

Yes (with one extension), so my question applies to the DCC streamed matches as well.

[And if you are down for the shot, you can take more than one minute at DCC.]

Keith's got a little bargaining power himself. He's not hard up to play him. Just wants to get out of the barn and run free for a little on a field of green. Nothing more, nothing less. If the game doesn't happen, no harm, no foul. If it does happen, well, it might provide a little entertainment here on the East Coast for pool enthusiasts in the area.

A lot of people would watch a live stream of that.

I might as well show my lack of knowledge also.

10-6 on Keith's break

11-5 on Dennis' break.

Once Dennis gets a shot, he seems to find many ways to run numerous balls. I don't even know if those are enough weight for Keith, today. Thirty or thirty-five years ago, he was a true monster. But, as pointed out, he is 60, I believe, and has not gambled for high stakes in a long time. Still, it would be sweet to see him get into stroke with some diligent practice and small wagers to tune up for Dennis.

I like Keith's idea of playing for a smaller amount. Dennis would probably enjoy playing a Legend, also.

Finally, I believe a lot of us would love to see it happen!

Keith isn't playing anyone, neither isTony...especially Dennis O. Jam trying to stur up something for Tony. We all know Keith is done. Thread is boring...sitting in a tree...LOL

I enjoy Azbilliards and posting pool-reated happenings. When I posted this read, I read on FB that Tony Chohan wanted to play Dennis Orcullo; thus, the reason for the thread. May be boring for you, but for action enthusiasts, this is an online bark, hoping to make something happen.

A month or so ago, when Dennis was visiting Virginia, staying with friends, Team McCready reached out to his handler and wanted to find out if Dennis would play Keith, and if so, we were going to discuss the game. As it turned, Dennis' handler said Dennis would be on tour for a little while -- translate meaning he was playing Scott Frost -- but that when he returned, Keith and Dennis could play some before Dennis goes to Super Billiards Expo.

A few days ago, Dennis' handler -- while this thread was already made -- PM-ed me and asked what game Keith wanted to play Dennis, and therein lies the genesis.

Now, you can think I made this up and that it is an untruth, and that's your prerogative. But this is the stone-cold truth. I wrote this info for my local pool friends, so they would know what's happening at the time of this writing. As far as you go, I frankly don't give a hill of beans what you think, and if you like you can go back and crawl under your rock and wait for the next moment you can spew your words of wisdom. While you're under that rock, the rest of us will be enjoying pool in whatever form it takes, whether it's Tony, Alex, Keith, or some local player in my neck of the woods.

JAM...you aren't old enough to use phrases like "hill of beans"....
...that's something my mother would've said...along with "by cracky"....
...she would also say "my heavens" a lot when I would come in the house looking
messier than our family dog.....who was called Rover...:embarrassed2:

What would Keith think of making a game involving the big ball?

Keith just wants to get out of the house, truth be told. I think he'd take any game, but he's already said, after reading this thread and receiving a few PMs from our local pool player friends, that he wants all breaks in one-hole. If they can match up to each other's satisfaction, one-pocket will be the game.

Another thing to consider is that Alex may be at Super Billiards Expo, and there's plenty of opportunities for action there. Dennis and Alex may be able to make something happen at the SBE. Logistically speaking, that would work.

JAM,

I think Keith needs a warm-up match before jumping in with Dennis. I hear some guy named John Barton is looking for a 10 ahead 1 pocket match?:grin-devilish::grin-devilish::grin-devilish:

Sorry everyone...I just couldn't resist posting that.

We would love to see Keith play again.

Hope JAM isnt just teasing us.

Truth always sounds like lies to a sinner.

Well, that's what Boyd Crowder said, anyway.

Do big balls exist any more?
