Scott was sponsored so nix that. Mark Griffin said Bustamante said... but Mark has a financial interest there. I have never heard a pro player without monetary gain say that Cyclop balls play great and certainly not better then Aramith. You go to enough events Lou so just ask around. I could go up to 20 pros with a camera at an event and I don't think one of them would say they preferred Cyclop balls. Cyclop is not terrible IMO but I believe Aramith is a superior product when comparing both of there top of the line ball sets. Aramith Duramith is the best I feel but you are entitled to chose Cyclop if you like.

What are you saying, Lenny?

Are you saying that because a sponsorship deal existed Scott's endorsement of Cyclop balls should be automatically discounted? That it wasn't a heartfelt endorsement? That he just held his nose and accepted the sponsorship? Is that just Scott or all pool pros who accept a sponsorship deal? Should we then discount the endorsement of other Cyclop sponsored players such as Thorsten Hohmann? Kelly Fischer? Michael Hill? Pin-Yi Ko?

Or are you saying something else?

So MG may have a interest in Cyclop. What does that have to do with Bustamonte's endorsement? Bill Stroud's? And even if you haven't heard of pros saying they prefer Cyclop, Daniel of POV Pool has.

I can't speak for Frost but can say that personally I will look at the reviews of a product by the masses as opposed to what someone who is sponsored says about it. Just makes sense to me.

WAIT, WHAT in all that's holy? YOU really use common sense to base your decisions on? What the hell are you trying to do? WE all know that whatever some paid/compensated endorser states has to be true. I KNOW IT IS I READ IT ON THE INTERNET!

Are you honestly suggesting that someone who is paid to endorse a product is not biased?

Lou has been doing his best to keep this thread alive.
I think there's a better chance of SVB being on a winning MC side before this ends anytime soon. As for the balls, i recently hit some of the current crop of Cyclop at a buddy's house and yeah, they do look a bit different(traditional not skittles) but they played fine. Cue ball rolled dead-true.

You're a little confused my stubborn friend. I'm not the one making all these claims about phenolic resin content of various pool balls, etc. You have presented yourself as some kind of expert on pool balls and most specifically Cyclop pool balls. Now your expertise appears to be based primarily on hearsay.

By the way the correct expression is not "bait on my breath", but "baited breath." I don't want you to stumble over your tongue and look foolish.

Actually, it's 'bated' breath. Bated is a contraction of 'Abated'.

Hey Did you see the funny pic/ gif thread?

Happy Wednesday!

OK, so you can't speak for Frost. Last I heard he liked them.

I am honestly saying that even after spending six years working within the Beltway I am not so cynical as to believe that everyone can be bought.

Yes, but he gets a paycheck in order to say he does like them. Should he say otherwise, he will likely no longer receive that check.

In pool, if someone is going to pay you to say something, even if it's a paltry sum, the player is saying it. Cmon, let's get real.

We don't know. He might actually like the balls regardless of the paycheck.

Of course once you bad mouth a past sponsor that does kind jeopardize future endorsements, no?

Lou Figueroa
that'd be
pretty stupid
but then no one said...
