Hohmann loses to Ko because of the Cyclop balls

This has to be one of, if not the worst thread ever started on AZB. As much as i dislike the NPR forums, i wouldn't even discrace the NPR forums by sending it there it i even could. The facts about the cue ball rolling off have been explained in the 2014 video, and yet....that's not good enough for anyone, i was there, i know what happened and i corrected the problem and it didn't happen again, but most of you ppl are more interested in your conspiracy theories about who's getting paid what money, from whom, and how much. I can tell everyone for a fact that Simonis, Cyclop, Aramith, Championship....and no other manufacture of any products to do with a pool table, is paying anyone, or any table manufacturing business to use their products. But as you can clearly see by the amount of posts in this thread....there ARE those that believe they are. If ANY of you were required to present the facts to back up your claims, there wouldn't be any of you posting one post in this thread, but i know many of you would rather live in a world that YOU think you know everything, rather than accept the facts....and have nothing to talk about, and thereby....become unimportant to anyone else!!!

This thread is still alive?
Johnny Archer once claimed one table is infamous for having a lot of skids.
It wasn't the table of course.
Someone blamed the set of balls.
The real expensive kind.
Kinda funny how that works.

Hey mods, pls lock this thread.

Happy Wednesday!

Is that why his not winning tournaments today, the balls?

No, you were the one blaming the tv balls.
Here's a little thought for all of you who think Diamonds skid more than any other tables out here. First of all, all things being equal on Gold Crowns vs Diamond tables, same cloth and all...then ask yourselves what's different between the tables! Hmmmm....MAYBE we should take a look at the balls...COULD there be a major difference between the Brunswick Centennial balls used on a Gold Crown vs the Super Aramith Pro balls used on the Diamond's? YES...there is, the finish don't last on the Super Aramith Pro balls, which in turn with the loss of the finish, the friction factor increases...which in turn, causes cling/hold/ball hop...what ever you want to call it....it even causes balls to hopp off the rails...and play boingy off the cushions....often blamed on the TABLE!!!

And i don't take back what insaid because that is the truth about the super aramith pro balls, made by the SAME company that makes the centennial balls you'reso proud of....so, you tell me what the difference is? Diamond had noting to do with the production flaws in the pro's, so why jump down Diamond's throat or even Cyclop for trying to make playing pool better? Cyclop didn't inv3nt the balls skidding, neither did the Aramith pro's, skidding balls has been around a long time....and ANY Pro player should KNOW how to avoid shooting a skidding ball as it's a known fact that they can avoid the skid if they don't take the shot for granted, i don't care what anyone says....it's avoidable!

But, you're jumping on Super Aramith?
So there are less skids on Centennials, more on Super Pro's but not on Cyclops?
See, how that works ?

Ah, sorry. Justin Bergman claimed Cyclop skid more. Not me.
Someone else claimed Diamond skid more. I didn't participate in that thread.

Tell the guy standing behind you with the gun to your head and forcing you to open this thread to go ahead and pull the trigger :-)

Lou Figueroa
problem solved

It's not possible to give an objective view after you're being paid.

What if you like the product regardless? Most times I play with the equipment I do because I like it. You playing with a cue, tip, chalk you hate?

You've been on AZ since July 2004 and think it's the balls that cause skids?

Lou Figueroa
can't teach
some folks nuthin'

Why has no one mentioned the tiny hair line cracks that develop in all the sets of Cyclops balls during the Vegas Nationals?

Last year, the final two days of BCA nationals, you could pick up almost any object ball and find small hair line cracks or nicks. I noticed at the start of the event... no cracks, no skids, toward the end... many cracks, massive amount of skids.

Err, go read Glen's claim.
Go read Bergman's claim.
Why don't you teach THEM?
Hey Glen, don't blame the balls!

~Some need to read better.

No, keep reading.
You need to get in synch with Glen.
And you two need to add your math.
And your juvenile game is getting old.
