What can I say

Just because I couldn't buy the best of everything,didn't keep me
from getting the best of something

Mark can post pictures as the table is being rebuilt

I am going to get 5 inch pockets,but Mark is trying
to get me to get 4.75

How can I be expected to make a ball with tight pockets?

4.75 Brunswick pockets are just about perfect, IMO. You're going to have a blast either way. I wish I could afford such a beautiful table. I bought my 7 footer from a biker gang, and the cueball had actual teeth marks on it, true story:grin:.
 
Tell the wife he wont let you get 5" pockets so
now you need a new cue so that you can make
balls on that thing;)

get the 5 incher's old man this way you get to have fun instead of being exasperated all the time. plus you dont have to miss if you play someone good and they leave you on the long rail .
you gettin another anniversary?
 
Centenniel table this time

I love the anniversary almost as much
and the gold crown

they all play the same,but the aluminum art deco look
is my favorite

i sold my shelby and bought a table,the wife said go ahead
it's your last chance ,the kids are grown,so I bought it

when Billy Incardone bought his,he kinda gave me the nudge i needed
 
Congratulations sir, there exists no prettier table IMO!

And good call on the 5 inchers.

Well maybe make 2-3 in a row anyways. LOL

I have to bring a Anniversary to Dallas in a few months with your Centennial and recover Chris's Centennial and stop and check on Billy.

I'll send ya some pics as I do your table if I remember to take some....I get so busy I forget to take them.

If you can hit the center of a 5 inch pocket you can do the same with a 4.75 inch pocket.

And the way mark is gonna cut them, they are gonna play better than any factory set of pockets ever did.

4.75 or 5 are both great choices. You will be a happy young man.

The Anniversary and Centennial are the most beautiful tables the world has ever seen (IMO), and Mr. Gregory does some of the finest work. Bottom line, you will have one of the nicest tables on this rock!

When I design my house, I'm making room for a Anniversary in the buget. At least that's one of my ten year goals.

Congrats on the purchase! Now, we just need to teach you how to post pics, so the rest of us can drool over the masterpiece!
 
I'm getting sick to my stomach reading this thread. I had the most beautiful Anniversary sitting in pieces in my garage for two years and wouldn't trade out my Diamond for it. At that time there were quite a few players visiting my house regularly and they wanted to practice on a Diamond for obvious reasons.

I finally sold the Anniversary to someone who kept calling me about it. He is one happy camper now and I still have one of the best playing Diamonds anywhere, thanks to Donny Wessels. He installed the new Blue Label rails a few years back and cut them for 4.25" corner pockets. The table plays great and the guys love to practice on it, but my heart went with the beautiful Anniversary. That remains my dream table, the best piece of pool equipment I've ever played on - over an inch thick (real) slate, heavy duty construction throughout (heavier than a Gold Crown or Diamond by 100 pounds or more), not to mention the beautiful lines that will never look outdated.

Let me put it this way. The Diamond is a great table to play pool on and the Anniversary is a POOL TABLE! One day, one day! :cool:

I guess I should play in this room a bit more then, makes me feel guilty having these tables an hour from my house and only going there a few times a year now.

Looks like they belong in a 1960's bowling alley. Not very pretty IMHO.
