it was kinda funny. not really about pool so much but kinda funny? maybe it was just me

Depends what you were smoking at the time which was the worst, but Pool Hall Junkies gets my vote for the worst. Johnnyt

What the hell was the one with Ving Rhames and all the "hustler" jargon at the beginning???? I would have to vote that one pretty crappy, but its worth watching once to enjoy its crappiness...... :D

Kiss Shot
'cause I was in it.

Wow, that's cool. I've got the tape, and watch it now and then
to keep myself in the pool mood. What was your role? I'll
have to watch it again soon.

I watched Poolhall Junkies last week. I have to say I did feel like sticking knitting needles in my eyes afterwards! It had a few fun moments but that was it.

I felt sorry for Rod Steiger, wish he could've done better for his last movie.

I was an extra in the pool hall shots. I am one of the guys watching the action --- in a red shirt, a lot younger, a lot lighter. The film crew took over the pool room in CA (closed it down for a couple of days) - my home away from home when I was tramping (working construction away from my home and family). Came in the room, was told there was no action, asked if I wanted to be in a movie as an extra, so what the heck I did it. The two male lead actors were stand up guys (Freeman and the tv NY police officer-asked me to go golfing) so I always enjoy watching anything they are in.
