Brand New Pool Table Projection System.

FIRST, they have to develop it. I'm the first customer. I've owned the PPB system and the ICA system is amazing. If you have to wait for the videos, hold on.

Any shot with the cue ball lines for any English can be quickly drawn on the table with the tools and with labels, drill content, cue ball speed and English, etc.. Then saved and recast at any time. Impossible to do that with PPB. As I've said; it is light years ahead of PPB. If you have PPB, you can have a nice discount with ICA. Contact with email; info@icatraining.com

You guys keep yelling at the developers and Denwhit keeps telling you he is just a customer so stop complaining about the lack of info from the developers when they don't even know anyone let the cat out of the bag yet.

P.S. The developer really knows pool AND instructing.

I am sure they had a sense of the leak we are discussing.

They 'sold' a product that isnt avaiable to the town crier.

It IS available. If anyone has PPB or knows about and wants that system, they would be miles ahead by ordering ICA. Nice discount if you own PPB. All one has to do is email info@icatraining.com. The picture I have displayed on here, can be constructed in a few minutes with the tools, and then saved. Impossible to do that with PPB. AND, one of the developers is a pool teacher and the drills, content contained, released in the future will be from a pool teacher. Very much unlike PPB.

Maybe so but again there is no reason for attacking the developers. They are putting out what looks like an awesome product and people are already knocking it instead of just asking for more info. Denwhit has both the old projection system and the new developers system and says the new one is much better. I for one am interested in what he has to say.

I am also interested, don't understand all the negative posts in the thread, if not interested, don't post or buy, seems pretty damn simple

Anyone know the pros/cons of ICA vs PPB?

PPB was a good device two years ago. The two guys that developed it were just not interested to upgrade it to what it should be. ICA has the tools to demonstrate any pool shot on the table, with tangent lines, cue ball tracking, cue ball drawing with cue tip control, labels, drill boxes, etc. etc. that we all wish we had with PPB. Even as a brand new customer, I can now draw any shot, safety, transition, etc. with ease with the amazing tools that have been incorporated. I can make it up on the table and save it. All of that impossible with PPB. Add that to the content that the pool teacher developer has included and will include in the future.

Just been told an ICA (Illuminated Cueing Arts) computer/projector is developing a YouTube video That should be available by 11/22/2018. That is two days from now.

I dont understand.

If it is available for purchase, why do they need to develop it?

Actually, I dont care.

A really useful projector system will also have a vision system that allows you to put balls out on the table and the system sees and remembers where they were so you can put them back.

Does this new system do that?

I too have the PPB system. I am very interested in this new system as it is not easy to create your own drills with PPB.
Are there lots of drills that it comes with?
Please tell more about what upgrades it does over the PPB system.
I did email the developer. Thanks for getting word out on this system...

I meant the date for the YouTube is about 11/22/2018.
What you are asking would include a camera, making the expense higher. But you would have to ask at info@icatraining.com. I can put out any number of balls and place them where they go on the table in about one minute with the tools. The individual balls are numbered and the data can be saved for the future. No need for a camera (in one customer's opinion). If you want, you could send me a picture of a table with the balls on it and I'll duplicate it and show it here with the projector. Email picture to my pm or I'll give you my email address.

Another largely content-free and information-free spam thread from the same guy who spams for his teaching pro.

....cue ball tracking said:
Can you explain what "cue ball tracking, cue ball drawing with cue tip control, labels, drill boxes, etc." is?

Can this system identify how many/which ball are actually on the table? Does it know the orientation of the cue stick at the start of backstroke and at contact with the cue ball? This kind of info would make this a VERY valuable training system. Or is it just projecting images on the table?

A projector for drills and layouts is a cool idea, but it's really only going to have benefit once it's small enough to be portable/usable with a smart phone.

No use in asking questions like this, the OP has no clue and will just tell you to email the manufacturer.

No, you are looking for a video camera that records. This is a computer/projector that everything is "projected" on the table. Bals, cue ball, cue ball circle that shows where the cue ball must be hit to track, etc.

I can hardly wait for a cell phone projector that can project 4,000 lumens of light to light up a pool table. When do you think that will occur?
