CTE Videos Of The Day - #15, #16, #17

I've never done that on you but someone sent me a pm a few years ago saying you lived in garden apartments that had a sewage treatment facility practically in the back yard. Not sure if that was true, though, and I don't go looking for public information that I can then threaten people with on forums.

That's not true at all. It's located right behind the city dump. No sewage treatment plant.

I don't lie in a pool forum about living in a mansion with rare art hanging on the walls. Do you?

There was NO threat at all. But you'll try your best into turning it into one. What I said is I wouldn't: Everyone is entitled to their privacy. Even you but more so for your wife. I respect that part.

I have to say in all honesty if there's one thing Lou has done in his lifetime which was the most positive thing of all is marrying Gail. She seems like a very sweet, loving and caring person to him and others as well as animals. A lovely woman.

Too bad the bottom of the barrel in this forum don't give the same respect to Stan's wife. She also is a beautiful, loving, sweet and caring woman to all.

So if Gail came into this forum and started pointing out the many, many fallacies related to CTE you wouldn't attack her? lol, yeah, sure.

What would Gail know about pool to begin with? If she's a docent with animals her time isn't going to be wasted on some BS pool forum.

Neither Lou or you can talk about the "how to" of CTE correctly. Your attacks regarding the fallacies are fallacies all unto their own and created out of ignorance and zero long term experience.

Like I just said, another negative post to detract from the videos of the day to bury it by "innocent Dan White".

Uhhhh sorry, nice try but I don't think so. In this day and age of instant information on the computer all you have to do is type someone's name in and like magic their address, age, and all kinds of information pops up.
Then you put the address into Google street view and like magic a picture shows up of the house, condo building, townhouse, (I don't know about a trailer) for the world to see.
What you described above isn't even close to what you live in and where you live.
Appears to be an old style garden apartment complex that was converted into condos. It is worth some money though (not extravagant) because of the St. Louis real estate market.
Do I have your permission to post it? Is that a "NO" I hear? I didn't think so.
But that's fine and OK. Everyone is entitled to their privacy. Even you but more so for your wife. I respect that part.
You do spin some big yarns and lies on a regular basis though just like with HB pool room tall tale.
Very interesting information about computer tools. TY.

Mine is 630. I could give excuses, but it is what it is. Also if I posted my name and you did a search for me, you'd find more than few games of me dogging my brains out. I get nervous on camera. That does not explain the rating, though.

I concentrate on other cue games now, snooker and the tight pocket games. I'd be happy to play you if I ever come to Florida. Not for 5k, though.:D

Over the last 3 years or so I've had Fargo ratings range from mid 600's to as low as 590. When you play in a league with a good amount of strong players, Fargo ratings around 600 to 700 mean very little as far as differentiating skill level. Many of us regularly break and run racks or get out from nowhere quite often. Right now I might be around 600, but I wouldn't hesitate playing any player as high as 700 or 720.

The differences in various leagues, when it comes to the average skill level of the leagues themselves, becomes obvious when you go to SBE or Vegas. I've been matched up with players rated in the high 600's to low 700's, and they accuse me of sandbagging the system because my rating was maybe a 605 or whatever. Then again, I've was a 590 something last year at the SBE and got waxed by a player who was rated around 500. You never really know the true skill of a player until you actually play them.

I'm not downing the Fargo system. Overall I think it's very good. I'm just pointing that if you primarily play only in your local league, don't venture out to multiple sanctioned tournaments here or there every month, then your Fargo rating is really just an indicator of how you stack up with the other players in your league. This means you might be a 640 in your league, but move to a new town and find yourself playing even with players in the mid 500's. Or if your league is loaded with talent, your 640 would match closer to low 700's in another league. It's just how it is.

It's 15 townhomes -- around a central courtyard.

The CWE is the hottest real estate market in STL. We can walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, stores, library, one of the largest parks in the US, the Metro Link, zoo, live theatre, and movies.

Where do you live?

In my experience Fargorate is quite accurate. The 700 Fargo players are too tough for me. These are guys who place high on the Eurotour. I can give them a good game sometimes, but I've never beat a player like that in a big tournament. Usually I lose by the predicted margin. Mid to high 600's is a lot different. I don't take 9 or 10 ball seriously anyhow, and those are the majority of the rating points I have. Usually I practise maybe 1 week before a big tournament, but I can't really get into practising my break over and over for hours, which would be needed to improve the rating. I'd much rather play straight pool, 8 ball, snooker, blackball, or any other game that play more to my strengths. My rating is what it is. It's the 3.6 roentgen of ratings.

I believe it's called "doxing."

BTW, when did I use the words “mansion” or “rare art”? I said it had high ceiling, custom interiors, had art everywhere, and was in a nice neighborhood. And all of that was just because Cookie referenced my supposed “double wide.”

Gail has watched me play dozens of matches.

She prefers 14.1 and 9ball. She has traveled with me to state9ball and 8ball events in MO and to Chicago for 1pocket and 14.1 tournaments at Red Shoes. And when I played JB she watched the whole first day online. She's actually quite knowledgeable.

Smart woman and has good taste.

So is Connie. Probably more so than Gail when it comes to technique since she's married to a pro instructor and author along with a son who had the greatest junior record in the history of pool.

They BOTH deserve respect. Agreed?

I know where you're attempting to go with this and if you're going to make any accusation about something you've dreamt I've said (like "mansion" and "rare art") you'd better be able to back it up with a quote.

Of course, you will not be able to produce one, but then facts have never stopped you from making false claims before, now has it.

Lou Figueroa
wasn't a question

Nope, you didn't say "mansion" specifically or "rare art".

Here's what you said: "Live in a really nice house in the hottest real estate neighborhood in St. Louis. Visitors have said our house should be in Architectural Digest -- high ceilings, loft, custom paint and wood work, beautiful kitchen, Japanese garden, and art everywhere ;-)

First of all it isn't a HOUSE. Should be in Architectural Digest? Produces "Visions of a mansion" or breathtaking appearance. High ceilings? I don't think so from the outside and age of initial construction. Not normal for a building that age to have high ceilings unless it was gutted and completely rebuilt. Loft? I don't know. Take a picture and post it.
Custom paint and woodwork? I'd say most everyone who owns a "home" can claim that as part of the fixing up inside.

Beautiful kitchen? Depends on what one's taste is and requirement for a beautiful kitchen. Japanese Garden? Where? Art everywhere? What's the definition of "art" and where is "everywhere"?

So I did what you ALWAYS do which is embellish and misquote TWO MINOR THINGS.

SUE ME!

I can pick out a helluva lot more posts you've made that were over the top when trying to bury someone in a flame war or your constant self aggrandizing crap.

Danny is a pro player from back in the day. Was on USA Mosconi Cup Team (again back in the day)
Still today probably one of the better 14.1 Straight Pool players around.
Not sure if he studies CTE or not. Every thread he was involved in regarding the "626" Hi Run "Record" turned into a S*%t Show.
I feel this thread is better in that regard. Hence my post.

Spider already said he lives next to a trash dump. I thought it was a sewage treatment plant but he corrected me.

I guess that means if real estate in his neighborhood heats up it would be indistinguishable from a dumpster fire

Where do you live? Town or city is good enough. I'll just assume it's in some drug and crime infested ghetto part of the town based on your low class posts and persona here.

I don't have to do anything for you, lol.

I have high ceilings, a couple that are over 25'; I'm typing from the loft right now; and I personally installed the three Japanese maples, rocks, dozens of other plants, and fountain in my yard going for a Japanese garden look -- been working on it for 30 years. Over the years Gail and I have bought art all over the country and from overseas. And you know what, I really don't care if you got visions of dancing sugar plums from my description.

It's not a mansion and we don't own rare art. But it's a nice joint and people are usually wowed when they come over for the first time.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about an invitation, lol.
