Am i wrong????????????

Not sure what diagrams there will be but I too am waiting to buy the book and watch the truth series

How fancy can it get ?
ABC reference points.
Left to right always.
Half tip pivot or no pivot .

Do it even better . Base it on contact point even though that shouldn't matter .
2-1 table ratio is what matters .

Do a video of any facet of CTE as you perceive it with any ball layout or layouts on the table. Verbalize what you're seeing and doing and we'll tell you if you're on the money or not.

No need for badmouthing or smart mouthing...go ahead and do it. We'll help.

You know, if you read the above the right way, it makes a catchy little tune....

why is it that that 2/1 ratio so important? mine old rinky dink shadow junk doesn't require 2/1 for certain.....i dont think i ever saw it proven besides that statement that cte works because of 2/1 ratio....always thought that was a little odd sorta?

It is odd, considering the visuals are gathered by looking at references on the cb and ob, not the cushions or rails or pockets....just the two balls.

I've said/asked it before, but CTE users disagree.... Since the visuals are strictly gathered from the cb-ob relationship, why would it matter where the balls are? In other words, the two balls could be on an octagon table, or sitting out in the middle of a desert or a parking lot, and the same perceptions could still be seen using CTE, ETA, B, or C. It's a certain ccb perspective you get from looking at the balls, and it shouldn't matter where the balls are, as long as you can see the references used on each ball.

Throughout history it's been very common for people to fabricate reasons/explanations for things they don't understand or can't explain. There's a long list....from rainbows to earthquakes to stars in the sky. I guess we can add CTE to that list. Everything on the list is real, even though orginally these things were attributed to supernatural happenings or magical phenomena. Eventually, however, true knowledge trumps all that fancy magical thinking.

It's numerological nonsense that began with Hal Houle - here's a part of his ramblings from 20+ years ago:

Hal Houle:
Any table has a 2 to 1 ratio; 3 1/2 x 7,
4 x 8, 4 ½ x 9, 5 x 10, 6 x 12. It is always twice as long as it is
wide. The table corners are 90 degree angles. When you lay a cue from
the side pocket to the corner pocket, you are forming an angle of 45
degrees. When you lay a cue from the side pocket to the middle diamond
on the same end rail, you are forming an angle of 30 degrees. When you
lay a cue from the side pocket to the first diamond on the same end
rail, you are forming an angle of 15 degrees. When you add up these 3
angles, they total 90 degrees, which is the same angle formed by the
table corners.
