What's the highest TPA ever for an entire 9B match?

Theres an Efren vs Wetch 9 ball match from Accu Stats from the 2000s where Efren shoots a 1.000. I believe theres more than one 1.000 in the Accu Stats catalog, but thats the one I know off the top of my head.

Yes, Reyes shot a .955 against Mika, winning 7-2, and shot a 1.000 against Wetch, winning 7-0.

Mika shot a 1.000 in beating Johnny Archer 7-3 in the 2001 DCC 9-ball.

On a side note, Ernesto Dominguez once ran out an entire set against me 7-0 in a tournament match at HardTimes.

For the finals of a major tournament, I only know of Wade Crane’s 1.000 in the mid 1980’s.

Hi Freddie, wow - I didn’t know that Wade shot that in a final match. I can almost hear Buddy’s voice telling the story in the bar later. I need to read Rags to Rifleman again. Such a great pool story.

Yes, Kaci ran 8 and out against Alex, in a 10 ball set.

ah yes, it was 10b; even better!

after running 7 racks that shot Kaci made on the 1b in rack 8 was brilliant. Low speed swerve shot required so much finesse.

Thanks for posting this, nice to see again.

best,

were the mika and efren matches played on GC:s?

Wade Crane's run out against Mr Hall was in the final match of a major championship,,and that 1000 has never been equaled. Mr. Crane won the lag for the last match , broke the balls and proceeded to run the session out , in a race to Eleven. Bill Lawson (who helped Wade with his game and break when he was young) ran the final session out in a tournament in Roanoke Va against Allen Hopkins back in the early 80's. Bill was pushing 60 when he won the Tourney . I'm thinking that race was to Nine,,not sure though.

Shooting a 1.000 in a race to 11, and in the finals of a major tournament no less, is just spectacular.
