Finally finished the addition (actually a small stand alone cottage) that has a BR (for my reloading bench and gear), bathroom, kitchenette, and an 18*20' room for my pool table, dart board, TV and a cd player.
Haven't played pool since high school ... over 50 years ago ... was always busy with other hobbies and interests ... but always loved pool tables and the game. When we made the decision to finally do it and researched Diamond came up as one of the most reliable US made tables .. and my wife liked the furniture models so we ordered one last July and were advised that Diamond had discontinued that line but in speaking with the sales manager he said "we have ONE remaining in our warehouse .. the body of a Jubilee model and the legs of an Arkansas .. all in oak. So we bought the "hybrid" table, ordered it stained Cherry, with Simonis Tournament Green cloth. Table is now in the process of being assembled. The table was built to the "blue label" specs .. as far as sub rails, rails etc., with K55 cushions. The pockets are NOT 4.5 but 4.75" .. but will be better for my wife to enjoy .. and for me and a few buddies who are novices. Will be dining in our new "pub and billiard" building tonight!!
