It was like last week, I scrolled for a bit looking but no telling how long it would take to find.
Think the cue bent backwards and made the 8
PLEASE! He made that ball with his cue stick! Pool 101.
Watching a couple times in slow motion. You can see the 8-ball coming straight off the rail heading up table, then hits his stick, which then deflects it into the pocket. 100% foul!

Cool stuff here. You've got some of the real classic gaff shots in the first segment. I got a couple you missed. I wish I knew how to diagram them on here.

Funny how some of the people's logic goes that say it was a good shot, especially one that said it was the same effect as curving a soccer ball or a baseball LOL A very smooth small round ball with very little air friction or pressure difference on a pool table, comparting it to curving a bumpy object through the air.
I have a pretty good one...ob/cb frozen to same rail.
Shoot ob in hole, with lots of low and outside spinglish helps.
After contact, long follow thru and leave cue extended and a little to the rail side of where balls initially were, until...
and as cb comes backwards, you pick stick up and lightly touch side of drawing cb.
What is the approximate distance between the CB and OB, or are they also frozen to each other?
Also, I don't understand the point of the shot. What does the foul at the end of the shot accomplish?

You can actually do it three ways and one of them is legal. From a different angle you can do it as a push shot and a ball scoots along the rail and goes in. You can also do it real fast with your stick. Then the legal way is if there's a little space between the balls and they are at a slightly different angle, you can actually double kiss that ball in.Viewers Baffled By Winning Pool Shot That 'Doesn't Make Sense'

Easiest to do when ob/ cb separated 3-6".
It gets the cb off the rail after contact...lots more than one can manipulating the shot with spin or strike point.

That's a pretty hard shot and requires the OB to be a lot farther off the cushion or the cue ball to be heavy. Here's a video:
Maybe there are other angles that work better and maybe the ball can be more than a diamond from the pocket.
I'm still waiting for a one pocket situation to use the shot in a game.
