Table is the same for both players. So is the game. So relative skill should be the same no matter where they play.It looks like Fargo treats 8, 9 and 10 ball played on either 7 or 9 foot table as the same, that is, a game. I don't believe any extra weight is given to 9 ft vs 7 ft ... I hope I am wrong, but that seems to be the case.
But if a 9’ table is harder (debatable) then you would have a lower Fargo rate on a 9’ table.Well each table is a different track race track.
Road course v/s high speed oval.
Just my two cents, but I think I am right.
I didn't pm anybody.
Wow I feel sorry for your kids too are you to lazy to help themHAHAHA, I don't do my kids' homework either. I guess I am lazy after all.
My question has been answered. Thanks Easy-E and Skip100. This thread can be closed![]()
What's debatable about a 9ft being harder than a 7ft? You think its not? Please. But if a 9’ table is harder (debatable) then you would have a lower Fargo rate on a 9’ table.
And so would your opponent.
So why does it matter? Fargo is a relative handicap, not an absolute.
There are lots of old threads devoted to it.What's debatable about a 9ft being harder than a 7ft? You think its not? Please.
I’ll help them by leading them to figure the answer out for themselves, like I’m doing with you. And I completely agree with your other statement “Just find day much to add credibility to sport.”Wow I feel sorry for your kids too are you to lazy to help them
To me Fargo is stupid name for handicapping system for Pool.
Just find day much to add credibility to sport.
Like I said post the flipping link to the explanation of Fargo, or is your mission to be a world class selfish asshat![]()

You're missing the point. It means something to the player as he can get some feedback on how he performed in the tournament. Like you said, his overall FR isn't going to change much, but that doesn't mean he can't get verification of how he played that tourney. This is especially true, if you're like me and you would often times rather play well and lose instead of play poorly and win. When I say it's not small sample friendly that means not only is your performance for the tournament small sample but so is your opponent's. You having a better than average day and they have a worse than average day doesn't raise or lower either one of your average play by much.
Beat players with a higher fargo than yours consistently and you will all seek your proper level but over one event the focus is too zoomed in to mean much.

You spoke about something you don't understand. He said there is a video out there ifWell the dumb ass says watch this video but refused to provide info or link. That is fooling stupid.
Real helpful, maybe they have some sort of asshat medal for service above and beyond.
You both deserve that award, asshat.![]()
