Taom Pyro does not stick to or cake up on the tip as much as other chalks. Because of this, you need to be a little more careful to get good chalk coverage on the tip. Regardless, not much transfers to the CB, and cling/skid/kick seems to occur less frequently as a result. I demonstrate this in my video:
Yeah, that was well demonstrated. But for anyone that doubts it, you only have to play a couple of shots to see the difference. The only time I end up with an annoying chalk mark on cueball is if I miscue doing something stupid. I’ve had several people I communicate with primarily online doubt me, but once they tried it, were like, holy shit, you were right. And they’ve been impressed with how long a piece lasts. I don’t know for sure that it does last longer, because I’ve never really stuck with a piece of chalk to the death, but it feels like it’s lasting longer than other chalks I’ve used.
EDIT: Oh, and I use it on my break cue with a Samsara tip, and despite the power being used and rock hard tip, it still doesn’t transfer to the cueball.
