Eagle Eye Takes Aim at 14.1 High Runs

he should have made the ball, he gave up?
, when the cueball was frozen to another against the rail up table, shooting over a ball, near full table angle shot

your a retard
I must be mixing up shots. I'm talking shooting over a ball at the left hand corner pocket. I remember the shot you are talking about that was tough. I'll have to play it back
I don't have time to run it back but the shot I'm thinking of I think ended a run of around 84 he was jacked up and just missed the ball. It really looked half-hearted.

When he missed the second 200 + run he should have made the ball. You would have made it. He shot it like a give up shot, half hearted. That rough 200+, and it was rough with a bunch of have to make shots, had taken a toll. He was ready to miss.
Yes, we know Captain Obvious. I mean, when we see pros miss shots we never knew they were makeable. And would have no idea they should have made it. Maybe, send a quick note to Jason and let him know what you discovered. I'm sure this will help his career and send him straight to the top. Well done sir, you really have a keen eye. We know pros never miss shots, ever. I think you have solved the great mysteries of life.

Uggggh. Railbirds.

he looks like hes in complete control and at ease shooting
Not to be a smart ass, but hey why not?, it’s Thursday the 13th

He’s always in complete control and at ease shooting. I would be too if I had his talent.

Just busting balls,

Your friend,

Fatboy😀😀

PS I don’t bust peoples balls that I don’t like. When I’m busting someone’s balls it’s cause I like them😇💪

Let’s just keep it real

200 balls is a hell of a accomplishment, easy or hard table. 200’s a big number.

Think about collectively how much we have all played, hit 100’s of millions of balls. And how many of those end up in 200 ball innings? I know all pool isn’t 14.1 but still think about it. 200 without a miss-that a amazing accomplishment.

It sounds small because the bigger runs, 300,400, etc get all the attention.

200 is monster period. Anyone who can do that, can play. I mean really play.

Fatboy<———still has a higher run in 1P than 14.1

Keep in mind the max run i predicted Shaw would have before he even arrived at this event😉

Maybe I was unlucky with the racks I watched. I watched about 6-7 racks so far, in between doing chores around the house. I didn't see very much planning at all, and the end patterns seemed improvised at the last possible moment. The keyballs especially, were abysmal. I'll go back and watch an entire run when I have the time and see if I change my mind after that.

Don't mean to put Shaw down. He's in the top handful of players in the world right now, and has been for some time. Not everyone run racks the same, in the end the game is about putting balls into the pockets. HOWEVER, when people are being critical of pattern play, it's not without reason. You need good patterns to get the really big numbers, because improvising and shotmaking will wear you out. 600 balls is a marathon, not a sprint.

For the record, I've been trying my entire pool "career" to run 200 and never have, and likely never will. I'd kill to run 200s. I also enjoy watching people play 14.1, especially top players.
We get it already, we know. But why keep repeating it, over and over. Yes, thank you, we know they are not running patterns as you would like. We get it. Stop already. geez.

Jayson just played the corner ball out of the rack. With this template, that means that ball is always wired to the pocket from that angle. That could destroy 14.1, especially if Corey sees it.
Do you have a time stamp for this shot? I’m wasn’t watching at the time and I’d like to see it. Thanks.

I agree, unless Torsten pops up. Then Shaw might have his hand ms full

In any-case this has been a great sweat and I sure hope it continues for a very long time

Me too. Freddy posted at 11:13 (my time) saying "it just happened", so I'm searching backward from when that would be in the video...

Freddy I assure you that is not gonna go every time and not be shot often. I showed Jayson several flyer type shots and the corner shot he shot 4 times and made it 1 time while trying it in practice. Thats only 25%.

Short rack or 6 ball will save pool,

Well maybe that’s a over statement, but will eliminate all the rack tricks in any game.

The last 200 he escaped multiple times. If you go through the racks he is lucky over and over. Almost scratched off the rack twice. To be honest he should not have missed the shot he missed. The racks took their toll on him and he didn't even come close to the shot. The shot looked weak.
I won't go back and forth, I'll reserve the rest of my comments till it is over and we will see what happens. it's possible as it goes on he may get weaker instead of stronger. today may be his best day. Watching this and doing my taxes at the same time.

I'm an accountant by trade. Everything you have done so far other than your name and address at the top is Incorrect.
