You're going to eat a lot of shit over the next couple of days and pretend its a Snickers bar the entire time, aren't you?
I don't care, I hope he improves. It looks like he is trying to figure out the break shot. He has trouble with the end of the rack getting through the last balls and key ball. Lets see if he gets better. If he keeps trying to relay on shot making alone it is going to take a toll on him.

Once he's proven wrong again and again he'll say Jayson actually took his advice. Coaching by ESP.
I wish you were right but I don't think I will be proven wrong. He may bully his way through a few good runs but that will be about it. His pattern play is nonexistent. Thats OK when you are playing a match and can play safe. In a thing like this it will take a toll on him both mentaly and physically

I’m not that good… my observation is:

Earl shot much straighter than Shaw thus far. Jason is rubbing the rails a ton. Earl was pocketing cleanly, even on his “9 ball shots”.

Shaw has better patterns and especially end patterns than Earl.

People are exaggerating his "poor patterns", while I've been pretty impressed with them so far. His end patterns are pretty good I think. Maybe some room for improvement on how he goes into clusters, like breaking them open from the wrong side, so he pushes balls into existing open balls. In comparison to Earl, I've seen a lot less cue ball movement.

Not sure what the negative crowd is watching.

He’s taking advantage of the forgiving pockets - what is wrong with that? Knowing how much you can cheat the pocket to allow you better positioning is smart, not lucky.

Anyone know if you can watch this without being logged into FB?

A friend of mine would like to watch it but is not on FB.

EDIT: I would logout and try but I guarantee I don't know my password to FB and not dealing with that today.

That's one way of looking at it. The other is play better position (with correct angles) and choose the best pattern so you don't need to be constantly cheating pockets to run a rack.
