The Simplest Aiming Systems to Visualize and Use

And so it continues with the personal attacks...
You are referring to yourself making them, aren't you?

I may do that soon. It'll be interesting to see what kind of feedback I get.
Please do.
As far as the other stuff you mentioned, I am in good company. Dr. Dave actually mocks CTE with his DAM system. It's on his website. Bob Jewett mocked CTE as recently as a few days ago. Funny how the engineers and scientists can see the flaws
So, they're both a Dr. Fauci. "Any attack on me is an attack on SCIENCE". Yeah, engineers and scientists know everything and rule the world.
with the EXPLANATION FOR what is happening.
Dr. Dave IS a member of the PBIA but not a Master instructor. Dr. Dave should not be denigrating ANY member of the PBIA.
Jewett has mocked CTE since he saw Hal Houle at the pool table with it in San Francisco during the mid 90's. Both of their opinions are of no importance. Funny how Dr. Dave talks about how to aim using 1/4, center, and 3/4 with various CB overlaps which is what CTE is all about BUT WITH DIFFERENT WAYS OF OVERLAPPING AND VISUALIZING. No contact points involved or other ways. He calls it a HIT at those points. CTE is a VISUAL at those points, not necessarily a HIT there. Do you have a clue what that even means? I didn't think so.
I'll report your post to the admin so he can put to rest any question that I get favorable treatment.
Oh, I know you're going to report this post and any that you can which was your entire reason for creating this thread.

You keep saying this over and over like it means something. Did it ever occur to you that the moderator does not see things the way you do?
Personal attack? What part of my post is a personal attack, the part where you have no clue how to perform CTE.

I say it because the mod has rules that you constantly break and get away totally free.

My recollection is that free discussion was OK as long as the testimonial thread was left alone.

So basically anybody who disagrees with CTE -- their opinion doesn't matter.
Knowing what I know about CTE, how it works, and how effective it is...NO it doesn't matter other than to point it out as misinformation and lies created by the same few individuals who have done it for 25 years. I WILL defend it, those who created it, and those who use it. It flat out WORKS GREAT!
I did not create this thread.
I meant to say your LATEST AND GREATEST PROVOCATIVE POST. It's quite obvious what your intentions are. Cry, whine, continue to provoke and then report, report, report.

The testimonial thread lol. You mean the one you’ve posted over and over in including about 5 posts saying you wouldn’t post in it again. Is that the one? Aren’t you disrespecting the mod by posting in it?

He cleaned up that thread and I'm happy to keep out of it. Someone posted there and half the time I don't know what thread I'm posting to. I do recall many posts from you as well, even more than me.

What the requirements to become a "certified" CTE instructor?

Simplest aiming system: Seeing and doing.

Whether you're "seeing" the shot from a visual offset or from directly behind ccb makes very little difference. The effectiveness of pocketing balls relies on doing it over and over and over (using whatever "system" you prefer) until you begin to recognize the shots and know how to play them.

What are the requirements to become a CTE Pro 1 instructor?
You have to forget everything you thought you knew about aiming, learn CTE, then pretend it is something new. If you are convincing enough you might be a good candidate for instructor.

I guess your CTE email alarm went off and you had to run to your computer and make another useless post.

I could argue that “seeing” from a visual offset is more effective and in fact easier then from behind center cb

To become a CTE instructor means having Stan perform this ceremony after you've proven yourself worthy
in the knowledge, ability to execute, and stomping every naysayer detractor into the ground at any game
they wish to play for $5,000 and higher. Not to worry because they're either basement dwellers or 2D protractor
wizards who only dazzle with equations and big mouths. Btw, a pool cue is used in lieu of a sword.

And that's your opinion, which is fine. For others, a direct ccb perspective is more effective and much easier. Anyway, I could counter your argument with the fact that one has to have a certain amount of experience in order to be able to effectively recognize what they're "seeing", whether they are trying to see the shot from an offset to ccb or from directly behind ccb.

In other words, you simply gotta know/recognize when you're on the shot. If you don't know what looks right then you have to keep hitting and missing until you've shot enough to get better at recognizing the shots.
