As far as the other stuff you mentioned, I am in good company. Dr. Dave actually mocks CTE with his DAM system. It's on his website. Bob Jewett mocked CTE as recently as a few days ago. Funny how the engineers and scientists can see the flaws

Knowing what I know about CTE, how it works, and how effective it is...NO it doesn't matter other than to point it out as misinformation and lies created by the same few individuals who have done it for 25 years. Whether you're "seeing" the shot from a visual offset or from directly behind ccb makes very little difference. The effectiveness of pocketing balls relies on doing it over and over and over (using whatever "system" you prefer) until you begin to recognize the shots and know how to play them.

And that's your opinion, which is fine. For others, a direct ccb perspective is more effective and much easier. Anyway, I could counter your argument with the fact that one has to have a certain amount of experience in order to be able to effectively recognize what they're "seeing", whether they are trying to see the shot from an offset to ccb or from directly behind ccb.

In other words, you simply gotta know/recognize when you're on the shot. If you don't know what looks right then you have to keep hitting and missing until you've shot enough to get better at recognizing the shots.
