Are the Europeans stronger than the Asians right now?

They all seem to be playing very strong these days. Take the Polish team for example. I honestly believe I could get five Polish players together that would give USA's Mosconi Cup team a run for their money. This is not to mention the many other fine European players out there. Even some of the lesser-known European players have been stepping -up their games lately. Does anyone agree at all with this opinion?

Disclaimer: I am in no way, shape or form trying to diss the Asian players. They still represent some of the finest players on the planet.

Sorry, I missed that thread. Since having a stroke 5 weeks ago, I don't get on AZB as often as I used to.

My apologies also to SJM. He put it in much better perspective than I did.

I think most understand that could be real easy to do especially on a more obscure thought/topic like that where you wouldn't necessarily have expected someone else to have posted about it or at least not recently anyway. And it was a good point and discussion topic too. Best wishes on the fullest and speediest recovery possible. (y)

There's no apology called for on this occasion. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery. Delighted to see you posting again.

Polish are tough but if they think Asia is easy action the Philippines has reopened to foreign travel and there is plenty of action.

60 year old Efren came to the USA and took Mosconi Cup member Thorpe's cash in one pocket 3 or 4 years ago. Same Efren in the PI needs weight from people we never heard of.
