US Open 9B October, 2022 -- Atlantic City

Jeff de Luna, Dimitri Jungo are out.

Winners side race to 9 but Losers side race to 8.
So losers side under more pressure to exit 🤣

Funny that Shane won his match against Tyler Styer's wife today, and now has to play Tyler tomorrow.
Fedor beat Biado in that loooonggg race then Biado beat his gf Tkach yesterday.

Pool events have increasingly more couples
Gorst/Kristina Tkach
Tyler/Margaret Fefilova
Yapp/ Silviana Lu
Capito/ Amber Chen

More pool events is good thing
Pool's tagline should be "Play Pool, Find Love"
And that can attract billion dollar dating businesses/sites to pay big money to sponsor pool

Not sure if language or religion is more important to Middle Eastern culture.

Omar Al Shaheen is the all time best Arabic player and the all time best Islamic player.

He is the Effren of the Middle East.

Some may have seen that we made predictions about the number of 1st-round "upsets," where a lower-rated player wins the match. Results follow.

Here are the results.
We predicted the number of first-round "upsets," where upset is defined as lower-rated player winning the match. More specifically,
We predicted 1 upset from the 59 most lopsided matches, and there were none.
We predicted 2 upsets from the gold group, and there were 4.
We predicted 9 upsets from the green matches, and there were 5.
Overall we predicted 12 upsets, and there were 9.
Here are the matches showing the score and the rating difference. Matches are sorted by rating difference, and upsets are highlighted in yellow.

Why? Maybe I'm the only one here who thinks it would be cool if Shane got a 6th title?
To be fair I'd also like to see Gorst win since he's been banned in most tournaments through no doing of his own. Also Filler and Shaw, but that's about it. although, Albin has been growing on me the last year or two

That's good hopefully you have learned something as well..

But I seriously doubt it....

i guess the nature of commercial cue sport facilities, with all their vices etc, is the main reason we are surprised. the only pros i can think of are rempe and massey, but i don't know if they were devout christians when they were active(?). shaun murphy in snooker is probably the only world champion that have given tithe of his crucible prize money.

either way, glad to see this kid recovering from the shane match and winning his next match. will play tkach today.

Tommy Kennedy

And a big chunk of the trick-shot community.
If you are part of a ministry, the seedy edge of pool may be a feature, not a bug.

Mike was, after his Denver incident in the 80's. A player slipped some acid into his drink. He was outta commission over a year. King James was not devout, but was married w/o kids and I'm pretty sure he & Sally?? are still in cue.
