Pretty strong to guarantee a 90 second break and run to open the session. 👍

Does everybody get their money back if you dog that?

😁

495.00? He has to have completely lost his mind. Darren Appleton did a clinic at our place. A full 8 hrs. ( Not 5 1/2) for 200. Granted, no lunch or trickshots.
No laundry list of pro secrets or absurd guarantees about progress. Guess that's why it was so cheap.

Hello all,

Just a quick count here, I'm being trolled by five fools on one thread. The next one who replies to me with more of their nonsense is the person who is the most in love with me, the most obsessed with me.

Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahah!
Reported. Don’t go there

Um, the OP is mine, with an outlined course! That's why we're all (most of us) here!

This, along with the 4 previous posts reinforce my contention you can't read and comprehend English
Btw, you're late today. Burning the midnight oil searching for ways to foil all the nasty trolls bent on destroying your spotless reputation?
Good luck with that, it's kinda beyond repair at this point. Should have never opened the can but you just couldn't resist.
Still waiting for Fran's former friend to tell us how awesome you are.
See you Monday.

The one pro training tip you should add to your itinerary is my trademarked aiming system. It's a top notch system, that takes all my students up a whole level. Yours would easily jump 2 levels guaranteed!

It's my Cue Low & Outside or Wherever's Necessary method. It really helps players calibrate their aiming and you would be a perfect candidate to start teaching this! You're more than welcome to begin using it. Us top instructors call this aiming system the C.L.O.W.N method and there's zero doubt you already possess the knowledge to teach it.

You're welcome.

I'm sorry but you're completely wrong about this. My system is much better.
I can't divulge all of the details without advance payment of 500.00 US.
I will say however that it combines TOI with CTE along with Secret Sauce. This has never been done before and is the most powerful aiming system ever devised. You can take my word for it.

This reminds me so much of Fast Larry.
Nobody could even come close to claims Fast Larry came up with. Somebody I know saw him play in a pro tournament
in GA where he lived. Earl, Varner were there and a good number of other big names. It was 9ball and he missed so many shots
the match was over in record setting time. However, he did have some videos on YouTube of him doing trick shots and
a few of them were really impressive. He had a mini trampoline on the floor at an end rail. Then slowly rolled OB up the table,
bounced the CB on the trampoline and stroked it midair with his cue and pocketed the balls in separate corner pockets. Blew me away. He was FOS for everything else. Google Fast Lary trick shots on yoube. There's more. One with two tables is also good.

That's pretty funny but not surprising. Bad as it is it's actually better than the complete garbage he put up on that About.com site.
An interesting viewpoint, since the New York Times editors who reviewed and approved my work felt it was of a quality worthy of inclusion--and promotion--like paying a video production crew, director, and Tony Robles thousands of dollars to add a pro demonstrator to my billiards site.

Setup a video zoom or a new thread here at AZ and I'll debate you on any billiards subject you choose so we can all see which trashman, Sparkle, is taking out the garbage.

All are welcome to take a look. http://billiards.about.com
Here's a few excerps:

* “Chin above the cue stick” is another pool myth. Don’t strain your neck to post your chin above the stick. Your arm must be on the shot aim line but your head and neck should rest on the middle of your trunk comfortably, left of the stick for right handers and vice versa for lefties. Sighting will be fine as your eyes can adjust instantly to find the target from this improved head position. *

* For example, when striking with parallel left english, the center of my cue tip effects impact with the cue ball. If you hit left pivot english instead, the right edge only of the tip hits the cue ball, and often, squirts the cue to the right, cutting the object ball left.*

* English mistake #8 is striking upon by accident the mysterious sidespin phenomenon called “backwards english”. If a dash of twisting movement is applied with your cue stick very late during a left english stroke, so that it feels as if you are moving the cue tip left after it first strikes the cue ball, the ball can take on the effects of the english opposite the side you strike it on.
The physical explanation for backwards english gets complicated, so suffice it to say the left english you wanted behaves like right english. *

* In a game of Straight Pool between two skilled combatants, english is employed on perhaps 1 or 2 of every 100 shots taken. Less english, more successful billiards shots.*

And check out the article titled:

* How To Become A Professional Pool Player * but only if your in the mood to laugh

PS Don't expect videos cuz there aren't any. Do try to find a picture of To(ny) Robles. I couldn't but I'm sure it's there somewhere.

This is the same garbage by the same person that we have had to deal with in the ask the instructor forum. It's been going on for years. Everyone else is to blame but him. We are all collectively always WRONG.

Tony Robles and I are just fine. You, on the other hand are mentally ill. Get yourself to a psychiatrist ASAP and beg for help.
Fran, Fran . . . You are cruel to nearly everyone at AZ, but with me your obsession is unhealthy, please back off, I'm happily married!

I don't do paid endorsements without full vetting and neither does Tony Robles. Tony thoroughly reviewed my teaching before signing a paid contract with About.com as my site's paid pro demonstrator.

I assume, because you keep ducking the same questions, that you do take non-reviewed endorsements, and have regretted it.

This reminds me so much of Fast Larry.
That hurts, since Larry's daughter called me to discuss the great hurts in the world that Larry had caused. He was somewhere between narcissistic and unwell.

Again, I make strong claims, that my students learn a lot, quickly. I have never had a student take me up on a money back guarantee, and my students have done well.

You see, you are gold and silver for me, each time you or Fran send people to my articles, I hear a cash register.

THANK YOU!

Thats a helluva trick shot!

Dear All,

Here is a lesson for today, if you are open-minded, and ready to receive knowledge:

Nicodemus defended Jesus against Israel's religious leaders when they held a private session to debate and judge Him in absentia, saying "But does the Law of Moses/our law statutes judge a person before we hear what he has to say?" -- John 7

I'm not Jesus and you're not learned rabbis, but I remain amazed at the nasty comments made about me from people who've not seen me teach, that is, judging me in absentia.

I think I'm taking the risk in offering trolls a free pool lesson. If they are truly evil people--and I do not think they are--I could give a great lesson and they could come to the forums and lie, saying I plagiarized from other's teachings or something.

However, as you can see in the notice posted from Facebook, in my private lessons and group clinics, I do offer to teach what I would consider secrets not published elsewhere in my books or online, etc. and thus anyone enjoying a free lesson will save money (yes, I do pro bono lessons for people on fixed incomes and youth groups and etc. but you get my point).

I consider myself a skilled teacher, however, I do not yet have the ability to hypnotize you or slip you drugs over a remote lesson on Zoom! So why the reluctance? I (honestly) don't get it. Through my billiards site and other activities I've had many interactions with students and with some really bright teachers, and therefore, some kind of lesson from quite a few pros, teachers, clinics, Fast Larry, Hal Houle, etc., etc. and I was taught in my youth to be humble, to learn from anyone. So when I read a pool book or hear a pool lesson from someone I don't jibe with, I discard the false (IMHO) information and move on.

I pick and choose my battles, folks, same as you. I offer help to a lot of posters at AZ but I keep some of my gems for private lessons, not for greed's sake (my wife and I have non-pool employment and side hustles and so I love free lessons, too) but because the slightest inference of non-orthodox teaching at AZ is flamed by--you know who they are. But to end the lesson:

“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces." -- Matthew 7

I'm not saying my pool lessons are holy (perfect) as only Jesus is perfect, nor am I saying some at AZ are "swine", rather, Matthew 7 has been on my mind since I first joined AZ, wanting to collaborate with other players and deep thinkers, and have gotten my hand bit nearly every time I offer it to help another.

Maybe putting this differently: I still get people who write me with ideas for new pool games, equipment they want to sell or patent, aim systems I've not heard of before, etc. and instead of being cruel to them, I thank them for wanting to share with me, and it can be really nice, a lot of laughs, and the making of new friends.

I mostly agree with you, Spider. That was a heckuva trick shot! I think he had some interesting ideas about open breaks and comparing power strokes in pool to what he knew of top golfers. I do not teach golf as often as pool but I would agree with those kinds of ideas.

Thanks.

Not players learning something? Just cash?

That tracks with your mouth service to Christianity.

Besides being facetious with my pal, Sparkle, I do get residuals, old chap.

Of course you skipped the other post I put today, explaining I do pro bono lessons and clinics for people in need. You could use one, I know. I have a pro bono teens billiards course this Saturday, in fact--but you lack the maturity level/emotional age to attend.

By the way, it sounds like I should worship you, PJ, due to your omniscience, " . . . your mouth service to Christianity." How would you know? You spying on me again? Just this morning, I spent two hours in prayer for your soul.

Included the above because even though you quoted it you didn't address any of the points I made.
You see, you are gold and silver for me, each time you or Fran send people to my articles, I hear a cash register.

Another crystal clear example of your MO. Dodge and deflect.
I gave 4 excerpts from articles authored by you which all contain false information. There really can't be any dispute about that.
I guess even though you're a top notch instructor facts don't much matter and it's all about the money.
To(ny) probably missed those inaccurate statements in his vetting process, is that what happened? Hard to believe seeing as how they're so blatant and there's dozens of others strewn all over that site, all with your name on them.
I'm out on this thread. It's obvious your dishonesty has been exposed to everyone. I'm sure I'll be around in the future to dispute your next batch of false statements you post on another thread. But I've had enough of this one.
