Spanish Open, June 2023, from Matchroom

I just watched younger Kaci play Tyler. He is definitely way faster than his older brother, when both are not on a shot clock. Its funny they walk the exact same:)

Who are the strongest Pro families? 3 Ko brothers, plus their father was a pro. Kaci brothers. Dominguez father and son. Spaeth father and son. Any others I missed?
Don't forget the Albins...:)

if kledio will keep playing pool he will no doubt be a monster. but if snooker is his main pursuit, and he can already beat players like ben mertens and place well in championships, it's probably wiser financially to go that route.

Brother and sister Albin and Jasmin Ouschan.

Brothers Bob and Tom Vanover were both champion level players in the 1970s.

Master cueists Jimmy Fusco and Pete Fusco were first cousins.

Wow, what a turnaround- last 32 round threw the script out the door with many big name favorites eliminated
SVB , Shaw out.
Wu also out after being on hill 9-6 but Uski clawed back to win 10-9
Albin on verge of going out behind 6-9

Kaci, Filler playing their matches now
Only Big Ko and Gorst are thru to last 16

We will end up with at smallest number of big names (at most 5) in last 16 for a major event

there ya go.. whenever it looks so predictable the pool gods shuffle the cards.

very strong by gangflot and uski.. skyler i kind of expected. been looking stronger than shane lately, plus tables seem a bit sticky and tough which should suit him

Filler is out.
Filler fights back to hill hill. Gets BIH running out but miss 4 in side pocket and that was all she wrote.
It is such an evenly perched and balanced last 16
4 big names all World Champions-3xDouble world champions (Albin, Ko, Kaci) and a one time World Champion (Gorst)
2 in top half and 2 in bottom half surrounded by a bunch of players who have nothing to lose and ready to take them down.
5x800+ in top half and 5x800+ in bottom half.
The dark horses to watch out for-Skyler, Oi, Duong and 2 of the better breakers Marc B & Dang Jing Hu. They may not win it but may gatecrash the final

Albin's match may have taken over 4 hours to finish, but it seemed as if the last two Gangflot-Filler games alone took nearly half that time!

Not that I'm complaining. Those last two games were epic.

Pro snooker too competitive and long learning training curve and it may be too late. He is amateur level not showing world class results. https://cuetracker.net/players/kledio-kaci?status=non-professional
Even amateur world snooker champion have tough time breaking into pro snooker. I may be wrong but if his results/ stats not showing talent promise for pro snooker at 17, window is closed and is too late. Maybe that is why switching to pool :D

New set of predictions since the original brackets were busted beyond belief.

I'm going...
1. Uski
2. Sanjin
3. Albin
4. Fedor
5. Sky
6. Ko
7. Kaci
8. Dang

Quarter
1. Sanjin
2. Fedor
3. Ko
4. Kaci

Semi
1. Fedor
2. Kaci

Final
1. Fedor
Kaci feels stronger but just want to root for Fedor to get that Matchroom campaign off the dock

Prediction: Ko gets a forceful break warning along the way. :ROFLMAO:

i thought his L16 was world under-18, not euro. paints a slightly different picture. still he should give it a year or two in UK, which is where players improve most. the pool route will obviously be there anyway

This younger Kaci is a monster

Phil or Michael said young Kaçi is primarily a snooker player. I wonder if this is right. Lot of commentators incorrectly say that Klenti was a snooker player. He wasn’t. Klenti never played a game of snooker until he was already Albania’s best pool player, and the Albanian Snooker Federation invited him to play at their national snooker championship.

Watching his skill set, I feel Tyler is a better player than his Fargo of 768 would suggest. His eye test Fargo, in my opinion, is more like 785.
He cues like a 790 plus player, but his decision making is like a 750 player. That coupled with his random odd misses and you get the 768 rating.

I think he should model his game more closely to Fedor's. They are both methodical players, but when Fedor goes down on the ball there's a rhythm to his process. It doesn't look like Tyler ever releases the shot to his subconscious, so every shot is a cliffhanger when you're watching him.

I’ve seen the Fillers play each other in tournaments, but I’ve never seen siblings play in a tournament head to head
