Superman's downfalls ?

I suppose then you should also include those that yell out after a win for people that gloat because there’s no bigger fu to the opponent than to yell out loud after beating them
I guess I think it depends how the eruption goes. Anyway, I'm really not trying to be the etiquette police. Just saying that I personally find Gomez obnoxious at times.

As bbb likes to say, imho...icbw.

I can understand pro players not having any desire to be a part of the conversation here. It's a lot easier to reach their fanbase in the echo chamber of Facebook, where they can delete any negativity on their posts.
The other thing, if they discuss certain topics, like aiming they just get shit on. If I were a pro, I'd probably lurk here or just not tell anyone who I was. They have a busy schedule, between practice, events and travel I'd guess they want to maximize their free time. Also, if you're good enough to be a pro, what good does it do to wade through an entire forum when your issue could be addressed with a good instructor or something... I'd guess if they are having an issue they could ask another pro who they recommend or what they recommend. They may just figure out the issue and spend 8 hours a day on the practice table fixing it. At that level you probably have a good enough understanding of what you're doing wrong.

that certainly was no shark. and he was just looking at the paper then put it down before rodney got down for the shot. sure it was close. but was efrin suppose to freeze in his chair while rodney played slowly around.

he was in his chair and that is what you do. you dont have to freeze in it.

Say what you want, I don't think he's going to care much right now.
That was a pretty sweet payday.

This might be dumb to ask but how is security at Buffalo during events like this? I've been at poker games that got held up for less than the cash here.

pool isn't chess. its a game where spectators and the other player move around talk and do things while you are shooting to some extent. if you cannot adjust to that then you are at a disadvantage.

I could not say, I've never been there. I imagine they've got some measures in place though.

u play chess bro?

I'll let my man @book collector try you sum if you do. He never sharks his opponent ;)

and i'll get my man to play your man. get it?
but i allow sharking(within reason) as that is part of gambling head to head.

They shook down a pool hall many years ago. I think it was Hubert Cokes that had three pistols on him. He explained that he carried a lot of money in dangerous places.

The "No Firearms" signs can go up right next to the no gambling signs. You don't be obvious about carrying guns but I imagine if you locked the doors right before a big event started and did a shake down there would be a lot of pistols found, most on the floor with no way to trace them!

While I suspect Buffalo has some "official" security, the unofficial security would be more than enough to discourage anyone but a total moron from trying to rob an event. Buffalo does have a safe I believe but the real security is dozens of friends in the place. I don't know and wouldn't say who was which but I would say that some aren't barefoot. Trying to get to Buffalo's office, rob the place while having to turn your back on dozens of people, and get back to the door would be almost certain suicide, not that I have ever carried in a place that served alcohol.(grin)

Taking down Buffalo's would probably require a very large team like you see in the movie shows. To make matters worse for would be bad guys, many of the people carrying aren't just people that tote a gun like toting their wallet or sticks, they are skilled shooters. I think there are many easier targets than a pool hall full of people.

When I play chess otb, I play 1 minute chess and I like to play the knife game,
when my opponent is thinking.
If the game doesn't get them , for enough of a bet , I'll sac a finger, the spurting blood, always knocks them in the creek. I need to bet a lot on the next game though, because after that one ,I will have to start doing it between my toes.
