Somebody shared this on Matchroom Pool Forum: When ya pulled your rail felt too tight. the "striped" shadows are a symptom of this.

And here is the "explanation" of why it is a rail problem and not a bed cloth problem from the guy who posted the picture to FB.

its 100% to do with the rails. ive inspected tables where i have seen this issue. when the rail felt is pulled too tightly in spots it bends the rubber slightly. the light from above reflects off the bed felt to the underside of the rail and because the rubber is slightly bent it reflects like this. pulling the felt too tight on the bed would not cause this kind of effect.

Quite remarkable. "Felt"?

Karl Boyes in the commentator booth just said there is a Netflix crew running around in the arena. I wonder what that's all about.

Meanwhile, Earl Strickland is on deck at the time of this writing against Mike DeLawder on TV table.

The player field sure has changed since the first U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship in 1976. We used to have more American pros back at that time, and today has more of an international flavor.

Scott Frost just commented on a Corey Duel frozen ball shot. I don't think Scott knows the rules being used.
