I was just about to say, somebody really needs to teach these camera people what to do in a pool match. They show the object ball going into the pocket, then don't even bother to show where the cue ball is going.

They completely missed Fedor caroming the 9-ball in because they have this weird obsession with showing the potting angle
I thought Neils played OK in that match!
That's funny. Frost was saying "oh watch where the cue ball ends up" or something to that effect and the camera is pointed elsewhere. I was yelling at the TV, "Where is the cue ball! "

All 4 remaining players are world champions. And for all his titles, Filler is the only with just a single world title.
I'm rooting for Shane, but to be honest he looked the least impressive of the four semifinalists.
The first Matchroom US Open did have clocks on every table, IIRC. The problems were getting that many volunteers (basically) and the associated costs. Unless you go to chess clocks you're looking at 50 or 60 extra staff.
Only in that match. In the other matches, he wasn't getting the rolls and was just executing his way out of bad luck.
So far as I know, the actual video production is not Matchroom. But I agree that the director needs to know more about the flow of pool.
Wow, I can't wait to see four World 9-ball champions, including the reigning World 9-ball champion, duking it out for the title tomorrow. Tough to handicap, but I'd say Filler impressed me the most on Friday, winning 19 of his last 23 racks played. Gorst finally found his "A" game on Friday and SVB, though a bit weak on Friday, has played extremely well this week. Niels has been consistently excellent, too.
Honestly, I can easily imagine any one of these hoisting the trophy on Saturday. May the best man win.

haven't seen niels play at all but looking at the bracket he's beaten all his opponents with 4 or more racks.
