You got me so hooked on that event, that I replaced you as the co-sponsor with Greg for the next six years. We expanded it to $1,000 entry, sixteen players and 16K on top! It easily became the most watched as well as the most popular event at DCC. You were in for the first two years that got everything rolling!
You were a big part as well Jay. We talked about it before I ever got involved. You were part of it 100%.

I really would have liked to have kept doing it, but I just couldn’t.

Was cool to be part of it, and who knows, maybe I’ll do something again. I hope I can

Thanks Jay, you helped me out a lot over the years. Jays been a mentor, friend and biz partner for many many decades.

I enjoy AZB for the interesting and often intelligent discussions about just about anything billiard related. I like the light hearted humor and friendly jabs going both ways. And the best thing about it is you can participate in the threads you like and ignore the ones you don't. It was and always has been our choice.

When I see posts that sound like something from the very devisive political arena is disappointing to say the least. This is one place I don't have any enemies. Detractors maybe, but that's all right. All this elaborate talk about who's right and who's wrong seems so out of place here.

In my opinion nothing on here is really that serious in the overall scheme of things. I come here to get away from all the crazy stuff going on just about everywhere else!

You too big boy. I admired your success and your very astute business sense. We worked hard but it always paid off!

NPR mods basically let the far right run slipshod over that forum, because they tend to agree with their viewpoints. And I mean... If that is how the forum owner wants things to be run, then that's how they'll run. But it's not gonna really good for the "overall health of the forum". People being allowed to constantly troll each other breeds bad blood, and eventually, sensible people get sick of all the venom, and simply discuss the game elsewhere.
Probably for the best to just not visit that forum. It is a typical reflection of what America has become. Politics shouldn't be allowed on this pool forum, but I don't own this place.

No democracy. Not democratic. Just pool. This is AZB, mister.

Just deal with it and be content the dictator is benevolent.
If this place shuts down, where ya gonna go?

nowhere to be seen on mine. no options list like that. my 'for sale' page shows 20 ads per page but i did nothing to set that as i have no option to do it.
Maybe it is dependent on what theme you are using. What about under your account preferences here?

i just know if someone has tons of posts on many pages then all the rest of the folks get shuffled back because of him.
that part of it would be courtesy.
I think this is really what it boils down to. The "no more than 4 posts on the front page" rule is meant to keep the front page from being cluttered or spammed (how the mods see it). It doesn't create some kind of vested right to have 4 posts on the front page at any given time that you can enforce by messaging the mods (how OP sees it, and probably some other posters).

As the saying goes, the mods aren't final because they are right. They are right because they are final.

By 'messaging the mods' we all know its more likely 'whining like a biach'. ;) Seriously its FREE sales space, no fees/commissions/etc of ANY kind. Why would any seller bitch about something so trivial. Take your whining ass down the road to FB/Fleabay and leave us alone.

Same for me. No setting for different posts per page. I do remember years ago I had that setting (I think).
I believe that forum by default sorts by date, so the rule should be updated to restrict 4 posts and/or bumps per day. Then it doesn't matter how many threads per page you see or the sort. Just saying.
