Fedor has something to prove in this match, Shane does not imo.
Yeah, he can try to show he still has it, but he's done nearly everything he wanted to do in the game.
Fedor wants redemption -and to sell stuff. With a win here he sells more. I'm only half joking with this one.
I cannot begin to imagine the drive Shane has had over the last two decades to do what he has done.
I further cannot imagine that same desire still being present.
If he catches a gear, he is as good or better than anyone in the world. But, he does not have to catch a gear in every one of these matches.

I agree with others here who would love to see the winner play Filler.
Josh is the best rotation guy on the planet imo, and it hurts to say that.
He also plays like an American in the way he is in no way robotic. He will run out nearly as quickly as Shaw when he's at top speed.
There is no player alive chomping at the bit to get a piece of Josh: not Shane, not Fedor, nor Eklent -no one.

Just my take. They are all amazing players.
 
How quickly people forget that Shane won their last match. Maybe it’s just not Shane’s day or few days. That doesn’t mean that Shane is washed, it just means that Fedor is playing better at this particular time. I have no doubt that Shane could do the same thing had he been at the top of his game. I do think that Fedor is absolute beast and will continue to be a dominant force in pool for years to come.

Exactly on all points

Shane tells the truth...hardest part about pool as you get older is finding the drive
 
Shane is more than likely going through hormonal changes as he ages and with a drop in testosterone comes lack of desire.
If he gets on trt he will dominate again. ✌️

Look, he's been playing at a HIGH level since he was just a kid. He has other interests aka FISHING. We should all be glad/jealous that he's made enough $$ to do whatever the fk he wants. Has nothing to do with hormones or testosterone. Gimme a break. I really hope you were joking as this is pure bs.

I think Gorst is right up there with filler. I’d love to see them do a race to 120.

That's the nice thing about long races, you can watch any part you want.

I wish they'd race to 1,000.

Even if this was a race to 20 ahead it would have been over long ago, I wanna see the best players play as many games as possible. I have no idea why everybody wants short races, if ya don't wanna watch don't watch.

I agree. I think longer races give each player a chance to bring out their “A” game.

Maybe he has no interest in long matches i don't know.

One thing is for sure, I'd bet 10k on Filler if they matched up and I don't pick many losers
