Ok, but...The food prices are lower than I'd expect in such a pricey area. I didn't expect any decent import beer under $10 in the city. $7 Sapporo is about the same as I see in Florida.
Except instead of J.T.S. Brown you have:reminds me of ames, mister
Way too high.Ok, but...

They do have leagues, but unless they have discounts, that's too expensive for most. The ten dollar bump from 3 to 4 doesn't make sense to me.
Had to figure table rates were high, maybe I was scared to bother looking.Ok, but...

A similar place opened in SF during the early to mid 90's following the Color of Money boom called The Great Entertainer.
It is much more gentrified now, but still not safe in my opinion. I visited a friend there in her condo. It was one bedroom, very small, about 600 sq ft, her and her husband paid $850K for it a few years ago.and what i remember of the mission district i wouldnt want to be around there in the dark. or leave my car in the street.
Related, I think. The SF Great Entertainer was forced out by the lease and then the tech bubble burst around 2000 and the development didn't happen, as I recall. It's still open in San Mateo, right? Or is that one unrelated?
yes the smaller version TGE is still open in San MateoIt's still open in San Mateo, right? Or is that one unrelated?
