The Color of Money Masse Shot recreated

Hello everyone. I wanted to post the video I did recreating the masse shot from The Color of Money. I know a lot of people here love that movie so I wanted to share.

Have a great day!
I like your shot a little bit more due to the cueball not having the potential to scratch.

But for a movie audience the fear of scratching and hanging on the lip was pretty spectacular.

Question:
There's that similar shot where the cue ball overtakes the ball on the way to the pocket. Is that with different weight balls? It's the simplest looking shot I've never been able to do.

The passing lane shot looks like it should take some skill but it is actually pretty easy to do once you know what you should do. Where does it usually go wrong for you? Is the difficulty in getting the cue ball around and in front of the object ball, and if so is it because it doesn't swing out far enough to go around it, or does it swing out far enough but just not have enough speed to overtake it? Or do you not have any problem getting the cue ball in front of the object ball, and the difficulty is just in pocketing either the object ball or the cue ball, and if so which one? The adjustment you need to make will be different depending on which of these is the issue.

In the first video below Venom has a very short but very good tutorial on the shot that gives everything you need to know. In the second very short video, from Dr. Dave, you can see a bit more precisely and in slow motion exactly where you should be hitting the cue ball, and how much your cue should be elevated.

Thanks. I see it now.
