Just for context my other home is Oakland. Lol. #2. I’ve also lived in Denver, Portland, Phoenix and Atlanta. If anybody's curious, here are stats from 2024. Chicago ain't Disneyland, but it ain't Memphis either.

2016?Yeah I was going to say Chris' billiards. Last time I was there Nick Varner was playing there.
Yep...and still there.2016?
2014 I think.2016?
Northwest side is tame. I live there.this sounds like a death wish. I wouldn't leave my hotel room after dark in Chicago....anywhere in Chicago.
Dumbest post of the year?this sounds like a death wish. I wouldn't leave my hotel room after dark in Chicago....anywhere in Chicago.
We were headed north thru Chicago on the way home from a race down south on a Sunday night, we got off on I think it was the Coney Island exit with a trailer wiring problem, the police pulled up next to us and said "you folks should not be here at this time of night" he escorted us back to 94 (or 294), it was many a year ago.
Thanks for the info. No billiard tables certainly throws a wrench into my plan.Probably the only negative at Cafe Billiards is no billiard tables, only pocket billiards.
Chris's has 3C tables and players, not far from Cafe. Thanks for the info. No billiard tables certainly throws a wrench into my plan.
I will still check it out, it has a rich history.
Thanks Patrick. I have yet to try Chris's. Maybe in May.Chris's has 3C tables and players, not far from Cafe.

Also, don't sleep on 5000 years Carom billiards on Dempster in Morton Grove. Maps has it at 17 minutes from O'hare.
Several billiards tables and a lot of pool tables. It's a great practice room and the equipment is in great condition. Diamond bar tables and several 9' tables.
