Vice City Filler vs Marc Bijsterbosch Ref Poor Position to make the call

On another note, Joshua's haircut looks like he's an actor and member of the Peaky Blinders gang. Seems like that's the style lately. My daughter said it's called "The Fade."

Carry on.

It's not even blabbing. There's "research" documentation for the checking. Certainly enough for humor.
Anyway, the ball headed for the rail then back out as if it had hit the cushion, while there was still air in between.
you said "silicone". Are you suggesting that guys who fight for ref to not get point to themselves unfair would use something like that?

Silicone. But it still looks like the ball simply changed direction. Zanetti is like ok my telekinesis not so good today etc...

Silicone is a common mod in billiards. Am I wrong?
Context, man!

That is a legit tournament, not a trick shot sideshow.

In your defense, football inflation, lance Armstrong....😐😬

Wasn't saying cheating. I was under the impression silicone was in common use. Didn't the ref used to be available to lube the balls? Regardless, pro billiards is slick enough.

Maybe in some 'Local' Bullshit 3C events in US!

In 'International; 3C' events, the table mechanics in many instances literally finish clothing the tables an hour before the tournament starts!

3C cloth is Very slippery when New, the balls 'Slide/Spin/Curve/ more than the speed of the CB moving forward!

K. I buy that. lol...

Here it is at time stamp.

The call looked correct. I don't feel the cue ball went back to the rial. The ref was where he should have been, because adjudicating the foul on a jacked-up shot was the top priority here. Obviously, the way the shot turned out, it would have been better if the ref had been positioned elsewhere, but hindsight is 20/20.
I'm with you on this.

I clicked on the video expecting to see a bigger issue than what is here. His priority was the tree-topping over the ball. He has no idea whether there will be a close call on a rail hit at the other end, and he can't be in two places at once anyway. And it seems obvious to me that there was no rail after contact and the players seem to readily agree.

I'd love to pick your brain on how in the hell one changes to play on new cloth. I'm lost on it and you good players clearly are not.

contact WNT. no one here can make anything happen. love to hear the response if any.
Yeahhhhh, it appears that quality former refs that used to be affiliated with them such as Michaela Tabb and Nigel Reese have been replaced with, let’s say, those that once weighed and measured have been found wanting of the expertise and skills of those such as Tabb or Reese.

Technically he should of stood on the left side of the shooter, would of been much closer to the foot rail and could of immediately been allot closer to the foot rail.
If he did that, this would be a very experienced referee thinking in this manner, he would of known the one ball separation off the foot rail could cause the parallel cb spin walk'.

Perhaps so, Bill, but few would have foreseen that a call might have to be made beneath the short rail, and no referee would have been positioned where this call was best made. The scenario in which the object ball failed to reach a rail would have been hard to imagine, as one would have expected much more cue ball speed on this kick. A judgement call was always going to be needed, and in my opinion, the referee's judgment was accurate in this case.
