See how your shot the CB is arching immediately?

On the FB video, the CB hugs the rail for a short while (straight line motion), THEN arcs around the ball, and then hugs the rail again (straight line motion). That doesn't seem normal to me.

In my shot the OB is 1diamond distance from the short cushion!

The OB in his video it's like being on the cushion if the pocket wasn't there!

His shot really doesn't take much power/effort to get back to the short rail!

When the Extreme Follow takes over (with more power than his shot) in my shot coming out almost 1 diamond again from the short rail, the CB is moving pretty quick!

the video in the original post may be doctored. It almost looks too smooth and it seems like the cue ball isn't moving. Its an easy shot considering where the cue ball is.

IMPO, it's not so much the position of the CB, but the closeness of the OB already to the short rail that makes this shot not that difficult!

The shot is dirt easy the way the facebook video is. (not your shot, of course).

I'm just saying the exact path the cb took doesn't seem right. It doesn't look the least funny to you? Like something is off? Either fake, or video doctored, or wax, or something on the ball?

Could be 'Wax/Silicone'!

I don't think so, it's just how he hit the OB & CB!

BTW, I've Never used any foreign substances on the balls or rails in my exhibitions!

FxF looks odd right around the stun and tangent. The ball stalls as if a second kiss was involved. Could be physics. The inside held the CB right at the brink of a stop shot, etc... Could also be a splice.

Real or fake? FB account may be required. The reaction doesn’t look right to me. The arc is delayed, then too gradual when it finally starts. The speed of the whole shot seems too slow. What say you?
...
You can get slower action on new cloth or by waxing the balls or both.

But some of the guy's other videos look "funny" as well.

It doesn't look 'Gaffed' to me!

ICBW!

Don’t know where my mutha funkin’ brain is, but I thought High Karate was our dude with a picture of a guy shooting with a hunk of bamboo in the mountains of Tibet?

A forum search revealed it’s hard high and inside with a fuller hit. If that’s high karate what would be the judo chop?

If I'm not too lazy I'll try it tomorrow at the hall. It could very well be me, but I'd like to prove it to myself one way or the other.

I used to set that shot up and make it over and over.

It isn't too hard.

I also used to make it with three balls stacked in the center instead of one.

I have used that shot NUMEROUS times in 9-ball games.

Liu Ri Teng made a really nice one bending over the 2 ball and middle pocket to carom the 9 in the top right. Was in the UK open year before last I believe. I think most are missing the point of the post, it's not that the shot is impossible, it's simply a force follow. The point is it looks odd. I personally feel that the video is either slowed down, or like other comments mentioned, some tape on the rail/wax on the ball allowing grip at slower speed
