Thank you all

The company I work for, and it’s a good one, has a cheerful veteran executive whose corporate history goes back a long ways. He has a collective set of recollections, experiences, and knowledge. In other words, institutional memory.

Beyond that, he is a dreamer and a visionary. Oldtimers here refer to him as the company poet.

Hmm … in the pool universe, who might that apply to?

Someone valued, that’s for sure.

When I first started posting here I showed my ass and you eviscerated me. Dang it hurt, but it was well deserved. You speak from experience and command respect.

I know you’ve lived a life well lived, but don’t forget you’re from Ohio. The Philippines might be sweet, but my dad has mentioned more than a couple times since spring started that he’s glad we live so close to the Cleveland Clinic.

Hate to hear this Jay. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. But remember you are not going through this alone. Every one that knows you and has picked up a cue is backing you right now. Just keep on keeping on and give us updates on your progress.
 
Jay, we've never met but I have a good number of friends here in the Seattle pool community that know you. I'll bring them up to date on what you're going through. Keep your head up, brother. Better days are yet ahead... so get well soon!
