    Why the alternate break?

I think like bowling or golf, at least you get to play your game. Pool may be one of the few sports where you can lose and never get to play.

    Okay this shot is cool

It is not hard at all to make the spot shot but the draw back is a new twist.

    Most 150's and out

When Mosconi was on the road for Brunswick he ran out so many times it would make you sick. He would run a 100 or more almost every match often running out first inning. I saw him run 125 and out twice in a row the same day.

If you won Powerball would you make a pro tour?

Not unless it was a viable business that made some sense.. Why would I just give away money to pool players?

    Trouble with one pocket

In my mind smaller pockets are a cop out. It makes it easier to take balls out, allows for mistakes and not have the other player score. It also lets you play more sloppy because you are not as afraid of the other player scoring due to the tight pockets. A good safety is anything up table.

    How Old...

I think people sometimes fool themselves as to when they started. Yea, they may have played when they were quite young but didn't really play. I first played when I was maybe 8 because there was a table around but I could not play at all and didn't really care. I got interested when I was like...

    Rise of Rotation Games

We used to play a game called "Odd ball". Every odd numbered ball was a money ball and the high score also got paid by everybody. We would play like 25 cents and 50 cents. The game would go all day and night.

Why No 15 Ball Rotation Tournaments?

The problem is, midway through the rack some one runs out all the high balls and wins. The game is anticlimactic. Cribbage is a better game.

    playing with vintage cues

You think that is a main problem? You could say that about anything you own of any value down to the money you have in your pocket. In fact a collectable cue may he one of the least things you have to worry about. I own a few valuable cues and my only concern would be them being damaged.

How many of you folks think that Players "splitting" the Pot is bad for the Sport?

Playing it out in no way prevents splitting. I saw Tommy Kennedy split with Parica and they played the final match. Tommy won 11 to 2, Parica didn't care at all about winning or not, he didn't even try.

How many of you folks think that Players "splitting" the Pot is bad for the Sport?

It is petty but this is a petty sport with no money in it. With prize money usually being top ended and often first being twice as much as second it actually makes sense. If first is say $1000 and second is $500 I can see the players not wanting to play one set for $500. Take $750.00 apiece and...

What is there were no gambling or money tournaments in pool?

It is a catch 22. If there was no money there would be no tournaments to compete in. If tournaments were put on but didn't pay anything to the players and kept all the money that would make even less sense. The players would just be whores. As it is though most players, even tournaments...

    Displaying cue balls

My concern would be the signatures fading. Maybe you need something that will block UV or something. If you store them in a drawer the balls will turn yellow. I would build something with cubicles with a glass like front.
