I've had no problem watching the event, even my wife who is not a player has watched some of the matches. I'm just happy to have a decent stream with great commentary available.

I tried watching one of the matches in the recent 1P event. But have to admit with a camera angle that didn't show the players it was very difficult to follow. Is the 9 ball better?

Said this before, what are the odds they will ever change the "colour" balls in snooker? Personally I like the tv balls, hate the blacks.

I think it's more like once you get use to a glove going without it feels "strange". Really don't think you need one with a CF shaft, although I still use one.

We just had two new 9' Diamond Pro-Am installed in our room and so far I have not noticed any marks on the balls, new Aramith. The tables are also getting quite a bit of play. Seems all the players like them much more than the existing Olhausens that we have.

I recently watched a match with Earl doing the commentary and all he wanted to talk about was how 14.1 was the greatest game, this was during an eight ball match which seemed a little out of place.

Been play more with the black and really like it, still think I can see certain shots a little better with the wood shaft but the trade off is very minor

Agree with what you said, we have Olhausen tables in one of our Rec rooms and while I don't know of they are commercial or home models they do play as you described. Good news are they are in the process of being replaced by Pro AM Diamonds.

I just got one also, very nice but I have to admit I am having some trouble going to black versus lighter color wood (OB-1+). Didn't realize how much I was using the shaft for aiming.

I have a bit more info on the cue, the original owner had it made into a three piece years ago in Las Vegas since he played in some bars where space was an issue. The TC emblem on the butt was his initials. Had a good look at it again and it is old. Just thought it was an interesting piece.
