I personally think ProForm is a decent substitute for Simonis at nearly 1/2 the price. I did a review on another worsted cloth I found on ebay and it sucked. Do a search for that review and you decide if you want to take a chance on it. Robin

Simonis will be fine on an 8'. American Heritage cushions typically go bad in the first five years so if you got 10, you're a lucky soul! If you going to install new cloth, now would be an excellent time to change out those cushions. I have faith they will fail within a year of changing your...

You might try a backed cloth which would be slower than any worsted and can mask some of the poor rolls. Are you asking about changing out the rails or just the cushions? If it's just cushions, you need to measure them to determine the size and then look at the alternatives available to you at...

I'd suggest doubling up the floor joist under the entire spans' of where your table is going.

I'd pop it all loose and restretch both side to side and end to end.

Check the Simonis website for their diagrams on stretching cloth. If you can read them, it may help..........or confuse :banghead:

Nice work Jim! The only critique I could mention would be to cut the cloth relief a little more shallow or you may see a slight gap between the bed and rail. Great job though!!
