    Anyone try this cloth yet?

I just ordered this cloth to try on my home table. Curious if anyone else has tried or even heard of it. It's a worsted cloth and cheap so.....it may be just that, CHEAP, but I am trying it to see if it's an alternative to the big price increases we've all endured lately. If anyone else is...

    Table ID?

Without closer photo's I couldn't swear to it however, it looks similar to tables called American Gothic or Gotham's. NOT good tables and some actually had 1/4" slate not much thicker than chalk boards. Try to get better pictures if you can for better ID.

    WTB - 3 - 9' Gold Crowns or Diamonds

Posted this in the mechanics forum a couples days ago with no luck. I've been asked by a local club/restaurant to start a seach for 3 - 9' tables to replace some 9' AMF Regency's that have seen better days. I nursed them back to semi good playing condition but, two them have slates that have...

Looking for 3 GC's or Diamond 9 footers

I've been asked by a local club/restaurant to start a seach for 3 - 9' tables to replace some 9' AMF Regency's that have seen better days. I nursed them back to semi good playing condition but, two them have slates that have very severe dips in the middle of an end piece on one and center piece...

    Boessling pool tables

They have a website with phone number and email link. Give them a shout and ask them. http://www.custompooltables.com/index.htm They have some real rustic looking tables that appear they would not be imported because of the wood used. Most imports don't seem to use too many exotic woods...

Gold Crown 1 K-55 rubber Mods

First thing you should do is measure your existing cushions to see what's already on it. If it has K55 like they should, the top should measure 1-1/4" and if they happen to have K66 for some reason (only if it's been modified) they will measure 1-3/8" across the top. To my knowledge, a GC1...

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

What a pain in the ass covering these with 760! I think I'd either pass on doing them again or use the right "snooka" cloth next time. They turned out OK but I had to feel out the right tug on the cloth to keep from pulling the flat nose down.....kinda like keeping the puckers out of standard...

    Pictures of hackwork section!

An install like that kind of gives creedence to SOME sort of certification doesn't it? Good Lord....it's obvious that this particular manufacturer doesn't care who they hire for installs! I hope they are embarassed by it :shocked2:

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

Hey Rick - what's 4000? I thought about suggesting the Rapide 300 but it's only a 9' table so figured it would be a little too fast. They've had the table for over 30 years and with Titan (or comparable) on it so, didn't want them going into shock  OK, just answered it myself! Went to...

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

Progress Still waiting on cloth because my customer was torn on which color to go with. They are British and had like a Titan british green before and have decided on Simonis 760 dark green. Just completed the cushions and although they are time consuming, not bad to work on. Here's are a...

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

Thanks Bob - never knew Meullers carried them also. And I would never replace just one cushion for anyone (except myself of course ) I always tell customers that once one cushion goes the rest will follow as they are "generally" made in the same batch. Although my pictures don't...

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

Did you notice how flat the nose is? I do not see them on Imperials site. I've tried on several occasions to contact them and have never rec'd email or a return phone call. I have an email into Brunswick so I'll see what they come back with. Thanks for the reply! Robin

    More Snooker cushion help please!!

Did the dismantle of a 9' Brunswick Heirloom snooker table today and below are pictures (as best I could get) of the cushions. They are actually one piece and flat nosed. I've personally never seen them before. Unfortunately, all of them still have life with the exception of one end rail...

    Opinions on Champion Fabric

I've had 30/30 on my home table for about 2 years now and really like the way it plays and wears. I am NOT willing however, to pay a higher price for it than Simonis. With Championships latest price increases, at least through my supplier, they are more than Simonis. Championship is cutting...

Anyone with snooker cushion replacement experience?

Thank you for the replies and helpful hints. I'll give it a shot as it sounds pretty straight forward. I already figured I better measure and dry fit first. And getting them faced off to match up is a must, I'm sure. I appreciate the help so thanks again!! Robin

Anyone with snooker cushion replacement experience?

I have a 9' Brunswick Heirloom snooker table coming up in about 3 weeks. I will be dismantling and recovering with Simonis 760. The customer bought the table 30 years ago and thinks the cushions may need replaced. I have recovered several snooker tables over the years but never replace...

ABIA - Who owes you money

Anyone else do third party service for moving companies? Watch out for some these big ba$terds and there slow-pay/no-pay games. Great communication prior to service but, little to none after service is complete. My new policy is payment up front or prior to service and the customer pays. I...
