Man, you've got to have big balls to play on a table that size.

    The differance in Aramith balls

I have always used Centennials, but I received a set of the Aramith Tourney balls for Christmas. There is no difference - that I can detect - between the play of the Tourneys and the Centennials (ran some comparison tests and all were equal). But the Tourneys certainly do stay clean much longer...

Diamond ProAm vs. Brunswick Gold Crown

It was just a little humor, not intended to deride your thread. I do think this is a good thread, which can provide some worthwhile information to anyone currently trying to make this decision. I was confronted with the same decision a couple of years ago, so I know that there is some good info...

Diamond ProAm vs. Brunswick Gold Crown

Previewing a table mechanics work before hiring, is that important to you?

I hired Donny after seeing his work on here, and I am very glad that I did. I just hope that when I need him again, he'll be available (yes, I'm in the boonies). I will never again allow anyone to work on a table for me without first seeing his work.

    Sneaky Pete Cues by Arnot

jbravo, I'm sorry to hear about the problem you had with Arnot's T3 shaft, and I hope you guys can work something out. For anyone interested, I have an Arnot cue with the T3 shaft that's two years old now and in perfect condition. I can't count the hundreds of hours of use it has. I have...

    shaft question

I had a similar experience a year or two ago. I had a shaft that was tapped for a Uni-Loc radial pin, and a butt with a Madison Bob radial. The Madison pin had a larger minor diameter than the Uni-Loc, and got very, very tight after about half the threads were joined. I don't know if Cory ever...

    Newest Ballstar Model

I read a thread with this question last year before I bought a BallStar cleaner. I managed to find a dealer who explained it to me this way: BallStar used to sell two models - the 201M and the 201A. The "M" stood for Manual and the "A" stood for Automatic. The 201A looked like the current model...

"Synch" sounds like "sink." Maybe that's what he meant.

    Ebony flame and ivory

I know just how you feel, DeepBanks. That is a gorgeous cue. Thank God I have just a little bit of self restraint - my tax man says if I buy one more of Doug's cues this year, I get to put him down as a dependent on my tax return.

    Arnot ebony/coco cue

Beautiful cue, Bob. As the happy owner of two of Arnot's cues (one of them ten years old now), I have to agree with you completely. Arnot is a pleasure to deal with, his cues are incredible players, and it's always satisfying when a cue is delivered right on time. -Howard

    Paypal help needed

I keep zero dollars in my PayPal account, and I have refused to give them any bank information. If someone tries to screw me, alll PayPal can do is charge my credit card; one quick phone call and the credit card company cancels the charge. I thought about opening another account specifically for...
