I have always used Centennials, but I received a set of the Aramith Tourney balls for Christmas. There is no difference - that I can detect - between the play of the Tourneys and the Centennials (ran some comparison tests and all were equal). But the Tourneys certainly do stay clean much longer...

It was just a little humor, not intended to deride your thread. I do think this is a good thread, which can provide some worthwhile information to anyone currently trying to make this decision. I was confronted with the same decision a couple of years ago, so I know that there is some good info...

I hired Donny after seeing his work on here, and I am very glad that I did. I just hope that when I need him again, he'll be available (yes, I'm in the boonies). I will never again allow anyone to work on a table for me without first seeing his work.

I had a similar experience a year or two ago. I had a shaft that was tapped for a Uni-Loc radial pin, and a butt with a Madison Bob radial. The Madison pin had a larger minor diameter than the Uni-Loc, and got very, very tight after about half the threads were joined. I don't know if Cory ever...

I know just how you feel, DeepBanks. That is a gorgeous cue. Thank God I have just a little bit of self restraint - my tax man says if I buy one more of Doug's cues this year, I get to put him down as a dependent on my tax return.
