I like it too. Why two periods after the KY? I suppose one is a period and the other is a seperator, but it looks a bit odd. One would probably due the job.

You might try looking it up on the woodexplorer.com. I would think the sg of a piece of burl could vary significantly, but I could be wrong. If someone weighs some samples for you, be sure to ask if those samples have been stabilized or not, because that will certainly effect the results.

The perfect hitting cue executes the shot exactly as you had imagined, and feels exactly how you would want it to feel. When you find this cue, don't sell it, or you'll regret it the rest of your life. In fact, don't change the tip, ferrule, bumper, or anything else. Just enjoy it. :)

MANY exotic woods are at least irritants. Cocobolo, in particular, seems to affect many people. Take a look at this table for many more.
