    ultraskin heavy hitters

Heavy Hitter Tip I have never tried it but I don't see why it wouldn't be..It's pretty stout..:happydance:

    Waiting on CueJo

HH UltraSkin The HH Ultra Skin should definately be put on the market..Anyone that wants a hard tip to shoot with will love these..I was reading about some not being delivered, I got mine, tested it, LOVED it! It's definately in the top of my preferences for a hard tip now, really good ball...

    ultraskin heavy hitters

HH Tips I was lucky enough to have tested the HH on one of my cues, installed it on an OB Classic Pro shaft. It is by far the best hard tip I have played with to date...It will do anything you ask it to do with no problems..I can get full table draw with it at a lesser stroke than before...It's...

    Uni Loc size

pins I ran across that also, I bought some joint protectors that were supposed to be Uni-Loc..Needless to say they weren't..They look the same, the odd barrel fits a Uni-loc pin, but the Uni-loc pins won't fit the odd barrel..I drilled the barrels..Someone told me they were Accu-Loc pins..I...

    Gus on ebay!!!

what next Supposedly just sold a Scruggs sneaky butt...The logo looked like it was put on with a ball point pin..Said it had a TS but didn't know if it was real or not, really....That way they are exempt from fleabays fraud restrictions..

    Can't get it right

tearing threads Untill I started power threading with a lathe I had that problem also..What the guys said works, but I found that most of the threading tools have a flat faced cutting ridge..If you look closely at your tool you will see what I mean by that..I started releaving some of the...

Richard Black Bushka on the Bay

Cues You really have to watch fleabay, there is a supposed famous maker butt on there now for sale..The logo looks to be inscribed with a ball point pen instead of a stamp...Really sad, but I see cues becoming like art, a really good cuemaker quits or passes on and here come the forgers...:frown:

Is this decent lathe for shaft work?

Junk Does JUNK explain it..Rollers are not round, so it's impossible to use anything but hand tools so you can chase the end of the cue hence the file and box cutter, and they will continuosly ooze grease onto your work because they are NOT sealed bearings..The base end is not centered...

    Help with Joss

smooth rod I ran across one like that, not a Joss...The guy wanted a weight in it and there were metric threads there so instead of finding the right bolt he just shoved some cold roll and epoxy in it....I love it when people try and "fix" there own cues with no knowledge of how they are...

Buyer Beware of Scruggs on the Bay

All looks bad, how can you look at a bone say it came from an Ox? And the shaft joints look to have been buffed to the point they are rounded edges...To top it off, if you held the butt upright, the "S" looks to be upsidedown

Buyer Beware of Scruggs on the Bay

TS Logo Sad, Sad, Sad, but not the first I have seen there and elsewhere and some have sold for upwards $800.00..You can save the pictures and use Paint Shop Pro to change the res and pixel size and out of 6 cues maybe 2 will have matching logos..Unless Mr. Scruggs had several different ways to...

    g 10 radial pin rough

G10 Cut some 1000 in strips that will fit into the groove, polish the grooves and the thread points..Clean, and the QUICKLY wipe on a super thin coat of THIN CA...Don't let it build up, best done in a lathe..Puts a cover finish on the G10 that smooths it out..At least it has worked for me...:)

    tip shaping cutters

Cutters Buy a few solid carbide or cobalt large wing roundover router bits, take them to your local tooling maker and have him change the radius to what ever you need...With either of these you won't need HSS... That is if you are looking for some rotory cutters, otherwise check out the...

Best full splice with veneers in the world

Looks I know I will get beat to death about this, but LOOKS are a good part of every cue...You can take 100 average players, and 10 of the top cues made, including the one they play with and paint them all black so they can't see what they are shooting with and they couldn't even tell you their...

Something else than a Z2 shaft

Shaft I went and got an OB Classic Pro 30" shaft and put one of Tom Hays Hard Tips on it, LOVE IT! It's a little different than the Predator, took a little to get used to it but then so did the Predator...I will probably putting some Z2's on fleabay in the future.....
