Finally pulled the trigger on professional instruction

tim913...Just FYI, Tom did not invent that product. It was invented by a young German, and Tom tried to help the guy sell some of them. A ridiculous gimmick if you ask me. Elbow drop is not difficult to correct, with the proper hands-on instruction and video analysis. Good luck trying to...

Stolen cues alert! Lafayette LA last Monday night.

Good point about the pictures. Thanks. Since I never needed a rewrap, I honestly don't know if there's anything under the wrap. I will contact Jim Stadum and find out! Scott Lee

Planning out the future of pool

Your complete lack of knowledge about or understanding of anything pool-related is astonishing. The fact you profess yourself to be a self-absorbed, self-appointed expert is no less than delusional. Some may be fooled by your complete line of BS in anything you post, but most of us aren't...

    Instructors

Hu...Or the 'creditials' they carry! In my experience, there are many who deem themselves able to teach (some by their skill level), but few that actually understand and communicate the dynamics of good learning habits and how to install them in our students. Scott Lee

    Instructors

Bob...Pretty difficult to argue with success. The SPF approach to learning has shaped thousands of players into champions at the state, regional and national level. With 40+ years of training behind us, we are the dominant leaders in teaching pool. They say mimicking is the greatest...

can passive income be made as a league operator?

Typical poolplayers...they think everything should be free. Next time you go to a movie or see a concert you don't like, see if the organizer will refund your money! LMAO Around THESE parts, I don't know anyone who works for free! Scott Lee

can passive income be made as a league operator?

rexus...150 teams is pretty small by APA standards. When I was an LO 30 years ago you needed a minimum of 100 teams to make a decent living ($40-$50K). Today I would estimate it takes double that (200 teams) to make any kind of living. I doubt that your LO is netting six figures with 150...

30 Palmer Cues at Auction on July 9, 2021

If any collectors are interested, I have access to the holy grail of Palmer Custom Cues...the very FIRST 3 cues Gene Balner ever made. They were purchased from and verified by Gene's widow and son. Scott Lee

Sadly I’m looking for an instructor for weekly 3 hour sessions in San Francisco

Bill...All of these suggestions for lessons from pro players are just that. They are not professional instructors...they are pro players who give lessons. There is a gigantic difference. The person you want to go see is Tom Seymour. He is a master PBIA instructor who is also a master level...

Stolen cues alert! Lafayette LA last Monday night.

I'm looking through old photos to try and find some that would be clear enough to use. I probably took pictures when I got the cues in 2001, but those would be lost by now. One was the Samsara Spiderweb cue, made specifically for me. If anyone knows how to post a picture of that cue, from...

Stolen cues alert! Lafayette LA last Monday night.

It's been 10 days, and I do have my spies out searching the pawn shops. Still no luck from the police, and no concrete answers from insurance. Since I did not have the cues on a rider, I don't know if they will be covered or not. Scott Lee

    Instructors

Not to mention the SPF group of instructors (randyg & I lead this group)...everything is first based on extensive video analysis. Video shows all flaws...once you learn how to record properly and analyze correctly. Scott Lee
