The US Open is a seeded tournament right? Shane's position in the bracket, the very top, indicates that he was the #1 seed (appropriately so.) An easier draw is a perk of being seeded highly. Then again Shane plays so damn good, hes a favorite against just about everyone.

The hollow hit is the cost of admission for using an LD shaft.... You get used to it.

^ This. While I can no longer support Predator's shafts (They work great until the ferrule splits in half. I stopped buying them after the second one split after a few months of use) My Capone has Mike's 30" "LD" shaft on it and I don't think I could go back to the standard maple shaft now...

That's about as far as I got too. LOL. My engineering degree has provided a much more comfortable lifestyle than pool would ever have, and I still have to time to play 4-5 days a week.
