Do you aim the cueball or the cuestick?

Ok I'm confused, how can you not aim at all? It's probally technically doable to not aim the Cuestick(since 98% of the time, you'll be standing right dirrectly inback of the cb anyway, so when you take your stance it more or less auto aims), not smart as it is just asking for a error, however...

Do you aim the cueball or the cuestick?

Oh ok, that's a different story, however,I don't think that is technically impossible either, although incredibly hard to do(effectively anyway).

    Whats the difference....?

Well in the USA, a pro(applied to all sports), is someone who plays for a living/makes a living playing(pays for, rent, food, exc off the money they get from the sport they play). In otherwords, if pool is their main source of income, the person is a pro.

Do you aim the cueball or the cuestick?

Well that's not true, afterall how do you think people including myself pull off multi ball combos huh? If you just aimed the Cuestick, unless all the balls were perfectly lines up, you wouldn't beable to pull it off, so clearly it is very possible. PS. On a side note, I don't know if your a...

Do you aim the cueball or the cuestick?

No, he is saying, he aims both, the CB, and cuestick, which I agree with him, thus this poll doesn't make much sense, since you have to aim, calculate both.

be honest, who really uses center ball ?

Are you kidding me, how more specific can you get then "center" ? Center is center, plain, and simple. If someone means high/low on the center axis, they'll say "high/low center", not just center. I don't imagine it takes many brain cells to discern between the two, so I don't know why you...

be honest, who really uses center ball ?

Those are 2 seperate statements, to two seperate arguments(of course, using no english on the cb, means you'll be shooting high/low, depending on where you need the cb to be.

"Center ball"...what exactly does it mean?

This, I kind've noted this in the other thread, as a few people seemed to be a bit confused, as what is meant by "center ball".

be honest, who really uses center ball ?

Yea, I actually have used that method before, it works great. Note: In the context of this thread, center ball, means dead center(not high/low). Now to the case of English(aka left/right), as you basically pointed out, is not needed in normal billiads play, becuase as long as you allow your...

be honest, who really uses center ball ?

Hitting the center of the cb still has It's use, however with higher lv play, your placement of the cb becomes very important, and how often do you need the cb to stay when it hits the ob(not very I bet)? PS. There are times where It's still useful, and is important to learn even today.

    Question on leather wrap(feel)

Well, It's technically a custom with a set design(aka production) by the company. I'm getting a McDermott M7-QR6 http://www.billiardwarehouse.com/cues/mcdermott/mcderm_m7qr6.htm It comes defualt with a Leather Wrap, but you could choose a different wrap if you wanted to. PS. Ok cool, thanks...

Am i the only one who uses this method on long straight ins?

You seemed to have missed something, where the CB hits the OB is what is suppost to dictate where the OB goes, so there for you should always hit the cb on the center axis(what you want the cb to do "placement" is controled by the angle/cut you hit the ob, combined with if you hit the cb...

Am i the only one who uses this method on long straight ins?

Pretty obvious, but I'm grad you posted this, becuase sadly, even proes don't seem to get it. The sad thing is, if you ask any pro what is the hardest shots to make is, they'll tell you, long straight shot(they all dread those shots), but the sad thing is, It's only hard, becuase they make it...

    Question on leather wrap(feel)

Nice site, alot better then most custom cue sites, as you actually list the woods you use/can get(every custom cue site should list the woods, wrap material, and exc, but I don't know why they don't), and the funny thing is, I never even heard of you before lol. Well, I kind've picked out a cue...

    Question on leather wrap(feel)

I haven't played pool in 10 years(a flood warped my cue sigh), so I finally decided to buy a new cue, and start playing again(omg I'm gonna be so rusty, not playing in a month is bad enough, but 10 years, ouch). Back then, wraps in general were rarely seen on a cue, and although feel probally...

Is "pattern" racking cheating in 9 ball?

The "bigger" tournies, are run by morons(player not up is placed around 20 feet from the table, as well as the "ref", wtf, not to mention the 30 second timer(It's amazing that the ref, or anybody for that matter, can see everything correctly from that far away, and what if you want to switch...
