★ world 9 ball championship ★ qatar★

In this match, Shane appeared to be EXTREMELY composed. 4 more matches = World Title.

Lol it sounds so easy on paper, but in actuality he will have to face 4 monsters. I honestly feel if he can't win right now, he will never be able to.

Think about it. This has been his easiest draw thus far for the W9B. He's basically been sliding his way through the brackets, and even his next match is going to be easy compared to all the other monsters left.

Now imagine if his first 5 opponents were Yu-Lung, Biado, Orcollo, Pin-Yi or Appleton.

Based on his draw thus far, if he can't get it done, I don't think he'll ever have a better chance. NOW'S HIS TIME!

I'm not so sure about this. I would remind you of Francisco Bustamante. Didn't he get 2nd 3 times before eventually winning? For a true champion, it is never the last time lol.

Good luck Shane!

Bustamante won in 2010. His closest showing before that was in 2002 when he lost in the finals to Earl.

He's a champion no matter how he does the job.

I'm just curious about the comparisons between what is taught by cueing instructors and what professional players actually do.

You don't have to be curious........ You can be sure.......

Joey, if we ever meet, I'll show you three shots where the cue ball goes three different
places only by regulating the follow through.

I hope that we will meet one day. Do you go to any of the national or large regional tournaments?

Make that 5 more matches to the title (rounds of 32 players, 16, 8, 4, and finals), which means a title for him is only about half as likely as if he had only 4 more matches.

[Maybe you meant 4 matches to get to the title match.]

Good point. Actually, I was referring to Shane's comment on his Facebook page a couple of days ago where he said 5 more matches for a World Title. Maybe he meant 5 more matches to play for a World Title. :)

Thanks for pointing out how many more matches actually exist for the winner of this event.

Don't get me wrong about coaching....a coach will give a player his foundation.
....but you have to move on.

A man can't win the Indy driving like the way he got his driver's license.

Thanks. What a lineup! The cream is rising to the top.

Need glasses or hearing aids? lol Im teasing. He double hit the 7 ball. Foul and conceded. Proper thing to do at that point.

I am not convinced, the hit was good IMO, very hard to double hit with inside english and that distance between 2 balls

Ok. Make an exam appt. You can see and hear it.

And the important part was he KNEW it. Kuddos to him.

I'm starting to think genipool14 doesn't like Mike dechaine. Not one dechaine match replay posted.

Also, he had flawless match videos posted from today when the stream was dropping out, so he must have a contact with kozoom or work with them to have access to their recorded matches

Edit: upon closer look his matches aren't compete, so he must have been hit by the stream issues as well.
Thats unfortunate because I really would want to watch that dechaine v Kevin match again.

Just to see the shot on the 2 ball at 6-5 and then the shot on 3 at 9-9 by dechaine would be nice
