1 Piece Willie Hoppe Titlist on Ebay

It is posted as if the seller is completely ignorant of the stick. I think the ring work and dots have clued some people in to something. It went over $250 in a matter of hours when posted. If it is a significant cue I hope someone knows it and it goes to the right buyer. I suppose it is about a grand below what a "lost" Paradise or something like that would bring but there may be fireworks in the last few minutes.

Here is the link if anyone is interested. I am not involved with this cue so I have no information. Just trying to help anyone that is looking. I can't tell from looking at it what type wood it is.

This is a 1940s oak Titlist with a first edition signature. Did anyone check out that shipping fee? $70 It looks rough with one of the points chipped, and the seller says it's warped. If I won it, I would ask the seller to saw it off at 32" and get a cheaper shipping rate...

Two more

The same seller has a second Oak Titlist and a third (Can't tell the wood type) on Ebay. I bet that first Oak Titlist goes for over $300 even with the $70 shipping (Which can be greatly reduced by cutting the shaft off as Mr Hoppe suggested).

Hi,

Gag me with a spoon but that cue looks like a piece of ShXX to me.

A very beat up mass produced item.

With a 1/4" roll, I guess it is a nice wall decoration or conversation piece.

JMO,

Rick

I won't touch them unless they are 20 oz anyway.
19's are kinda thin by the time you chop them up.

Not a big fan of Titlists to convert eh Rick!!! Just kidding. I bought mass produced stickered 18 ounce Oak Titlist with a table roll...most of it is in the shaft which gets cut off anyway. It is a amazing what a good cuemaker can do with a POS. Here are the before and after photo's.
