Yeah, but when they (golfers) hit a ball they're shooting for a large zone (drive), just trying to get close (approach shot), and essentially trying not to 3 putt if greater than 10 feet away. A pool player, to win on a professional tour, has to almost play perfect pool (make every makable shot) to win.

Have you watched some of the matches in the Philippines? Rooster's crowing, mopeds, bugs and other distractions. Oh and they rarely miss a ball. Now take a golfer who needs total silence to play and put them in those conditions and see how they do.
