69 ball run
I ran a 55 on my 5th try, then this 69 on my 13th attempt today. http://www.vimeo.com/13610283 Had to stop for real world responsibilities so I will give it another try later tonight. Goodluck everyone! This is gonna be exciting.

Top I have so far is a 20 ball run. At least I made it into the second rack.
I am heading out to a pool party at Shark City tonight with some friends. PLaying from 9pm-2am, unfortunately, that will most likely all be "Social Pool" consisting of 8-ball, doubles, and drinking. If I get lucky, maybe I'll find someone that can at least try 9-ball.
I'll give the run challenge some more effort tomorrow. As I suspected, this challenge is at least forcing me to make conscious efforts at runs.
I'll update ya tomorrow.

Well, I played for one hour today and had a big 50 on the dot.
Tomorrow, I know that I have at least 3 to 4 hours to play. Hopefully, I can do a little better. Good luck to everyone.

I was going to resign from the competition, well maybe the word is surrender.
My basement is at least 95-100 with 95% humidity, Yesterday the temp right down the road at field level, Yankee Stadium was 112. Brutal far baseball, impossible for pool. I did manage a few 30's but didn't think to save any of them. After a few beads of sweat dripped on the table I kind of gave up.

Big 18 a few minutes ago.
then mowed the lawn and snuck another inning in. 15 and made another and scratched. Not much open but if I hadn't scratched woulda had a good secondary break shot.
Now off to some stores with the bride and maybe a little later.

lol. my garage was almost as hot and I was sweating up a storm and started thinking about how many calories you could burn playing nonstop in that heat two hours a day. probably not the best idea, but I like a painful dangerous challenge.

I know I resigned but i was inspired by Jesse's video, fwiw if that was my run it would have ended at 3. there is no way I make that jacked up shot into the far corner. nice shot.
