Gorst vs Filler who would win?
Shaw is out already cause he concedes.

Filler. He doesn't have to beat 'The Conceder'.Gorst vs Filler who would win?

The potential runs by both players could be so long, the result would be meaningless unless the race was to at least 1000 or better yet to 2000, held over multiple days.Gorst vs Filler who would win?

There is no one on the planet right at this moment that would beat filler to 2000 points.
1 by far: filler
2 in solid second: Shaw
3-10 probably a bunch. Thorsten is probably still in this group. 10 years ago he would have been #1.
Very good observation, I agree totally. This would make for an interesting match up though.Assuming we're playing on 4 1/2" pockets, Filler is a clear favorite in a long race, but Gorst's near perfect fundamentals and superior temperament give him a realistic chance against anybody in any pool discipline.
Straight pool, contrary to popular opinion, is not about high runs but instead consistency. The player that makes most of his opportunities count is the one that usually wins.
How about the guy Fedor says he won‘t play?…...says he leaves him in places where he doesn’t know what to do.Who could beat Gorst in one pocket? I can't think of anyone.
For a young guy, that was a lifetime ago. Alex stands zero chance in a long race now.How about the guy Fedor says he won‘t play?…...says he leaves him in places where he doesn’t know what to do.
No chance Thorsten is top ten. Hate to say it, but I haven't seen a top player who's game has fallen off as much as his has. His poor technique has really gotten the best of him. There is no one on the planet right at this moment that would beat filler to 2000 points.

If you're talking about a traditional race to 150 I think you're spot on, but if it's a marathon to 2,000 then I'd side with iusedtoberich. Filler's temperament would help him conserve energy.Assuming we're playing on 4 1/2" pockets, Filler is a clear favorite in a long race, but Gorst's near perfect fundamentals and superior temperament give him a realistic chance against anybody in any pool discipline.

That ain't as important for guys in their early 20s. How come they don't match up? Everyone wants to see it. 14.1 to 1000, 10 ball to 100, race to 10 in one pocket. Best of three. I'd buy that match...and I'm cheap! If you're talking about a traditional race to 150 I think you're spot on, but if it's a marathon to 2,000 then I'd side with iusedtoberich.
