I feel like singing Freddy Fender's "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights," because ever since I learned this morning how to convert video files to then upload on YouTube, I can't stop myself. It is a time-consuming process.
This was a match that went to the double-hill, and it's a really, really good match. The video quality is not professional, but this one is a real beauty.
Both players are dressed to the nines. Each one lags for the break wearing their tuxedos. :grin-square:
The tournament took place at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Steve Mitzerak and another man named "Barry," whose voice I don't recognize, are commentating. They said Efren had just defeated Keith back in L.A. the week before at another tournament, and he had just come to the United States 3 years ago. Thjey said Efren was playing with a cuestick that cost $15.
Lot of players in the audience: Dan Louie, a very young Dennis Hatch, Johnny Archer, Buddy Hall, Billy Incardona, Grady Mathews, et cetera.
I have already converted and am uploading to YouTube now. I hope they let me post 39 minutes of it.
I can't wait to put all my pool videos on YouTube.
I'm so excited. Can you tell? :happydance::happydance::happydance:

Thank you, Jennie. That was fun.
I found my way back to pool in '87, started playing again at Bob's Billiards on my lunch hour. Came back in the evening a couple times a week, never got to see Keith. Ask him if he knew a guy named Auggie. He ran around the pool room in his bare feet.![]()
Thanks Jen! First time I heard Efren cursed too!![]()
I sure would like to find a video of the two-shot/push-out rules in a tournament, so we could see how it's played by those who know how to play with those rules.
I've been looking for videos of that 9-ball format for a long time! I wish I could make more sense of the rule explanations posted here on AZ before, but I'm more of a visual learner, I guess.![]()
Thank you so much for this and the other video of Keith and Matlock. I'm too young to have ever seen these legends play in their prime. These are utterly invaluable to me. I feel like I woke up, had coffee, turned on the computer, and found the arc of the covenant or something. You're awesome! Thank you again!
Edit:
Also, I believe that you've just posted the earliest clip ever of Efren Reyes on Youtube. The former title-holders, I think, were the semi-final and final matches between Efren and Earl Strickland at the 1988 Tara Open 9-ball. You've done the billiards world a great service, JAM!
Jam,
Thanks in advance!
U have made some great posts since I became a member.
Can't help but feel a bit envious about your ability to tackle the uploading
of files to Youtube.
Will U B at the Mosconi Cup?
Perhaps you could show me a few tips for uploading something myself.
Best Regards,
The Fool4Pool,
Noel

...He also was the best "roll out player" around. Great shot maker and had the balls to shot them. Tell Keith hi for me although he probably doesn't remember me.
I told her I had something for her that she would love. I believe it was 2005. I had found a guys website that had old school pool matches and were reasonably priced. So I ordered a few matches. One was a match between Efren and Jeanette in Manila sponsored by LG. It was a good match. The other 3 were matches with Keith.
Glad she got them posted for everyone to enjoy.
Now if we could get the match between Keith and Bushwhacker posted......LOL!
