If that's the one held at the Falmingo Hitlon in Reno, there were over 100 players (something like 110-120). Grady put it on and Ed Kelly won it, beating Cornbread Red in the finals. Both guys had total flashbacks and played some great pool. If anyone has the list, it would be Grady.

Grady ran a great tournament as usual ! I came in 5th. Red made a ball on the break 4 games in a row playing me to move on for 3rd or 4th or maybe win it all !! Rack your own balls, nice move Red hahahahah !!
 
give me a few minutes i may be able to get the chart from my farther. he did the chart and kept it! him and grady go back a long way!

According to my farther he had two of them and gave one to steve booth at one pocket.org he says he may have pictures of the chart or something. But, give me a few minutes for him to look around. You can try one pocket.org if he cant locate his copy or the pictures.

Im pretty sure JD, Ed Kelly, Bucktooth, Tony Annigoni, Cecil the Sepernt and Keither were there. That was the chapter when Tony got the flu and McCumber put Kiether into action against Cecil. Bucktooth made a big noise in the tournament room trying ot scare up a game with anybody he could and calling everybody a bunch of nits!!! "You can play me and win first place right now!!!!" :lol:
Oh forgot that Harry Platis might have been there with his wife aswell.

Now this was all in the book Playing off the Rail and when Tony signed my book he signed it... "Dont beleive everything you read... It was a lot worse!!"

Definitely one of the best chapters in the whole book true or not true ;)

Seriously...I believe the final came down to the last ball...
Red missed the cross bank and Eddie made roughly the same bank.
I've always admired Eddie Kelly but confess to being heart-broken that
Red didn't win.Most of his best times were for the cash, not a matter of
record.
Red and Richie Florence had the same approach to pool....
...under heat, they still looked like they were practicing.
