I am interested...

Obviously, I would be interested only if you would use proficient billiards as a escrow service. Any issues with that?

Secondly, how loose is loose? LOL. When the shaft is fully screwed on the butt I assume it is tight fit.

I am looking for a player not a collector. Not a huge fan of Southwest cues, but they play pretty good and the resell never seems to be a problem.

I would need to have a shaft made eventually but thats okay. The problem is by the time I have another shaft made, I can buy alot of cues for what I would have in this one, that seems to have shaft issues.

Ken,

I have no problem to use escrow service. In fact, i've used Proficient Billiards escrow service more than once.

Loose as in when you screw in the shaft it feels loose but once fully screwed, it won't move and won't affect the hit in any way.

Let me know if we can work this out.

Cheers!

Do you have any pictures of the joint pin?

What is the number on it?

What happen to 2nd shaft?

Is that shaft original to the cue?

Can you get a close up picture of the joint collar and shaft right together?

We are interested in this cue

Hi,

I don't have pictures on the joint pin. But the pin numbered 98-339. I'm not sure what happened to the 2nd shaft. The shaft is not the original shaft came with the butt, but it fit in perfect with the butt. And both shaft and butt has matching ring work. I was told by previous owner that the shaft was from a fancy SW. I don't have camera with me now but will take more pictures once i have the camera back.

I used to own this cue and it plays jam up!! the shaft came from a fancy SW cue and macth the butt perfectly, don't be cheated by the pix, whoever hold this cue in hand may feel the power, you don't even have to strike a ball but you just know;), shaft has a ivory ferrule but the deflection is incrediblly low during the hit, this SW is a true player, it deserves a free Bump!!:)

Thanks for the heads up Matt. I won't let this piece go if i can get use to the weight. Still prefer or feel more comfortable with lighter cue. :)
