1PKT Crane and Diliberto

I havent watched a sec of it, but somebody please use a clicker and count how many shots a filler/ orcullo/ pagulayan would take and likely drain, that DD & Boomboom pass up?

Nice to see a clip of Mr Crane going after it. When he was on , and there was a shot to be had , it was majestic to watch. RIP Billy.

I had never seen either Wade or Danny play. I was really impressed with Wade's firepower. He drilled one shot at warp speed that some of the above may have passed on.

They both displayed great banking ability on some tough banks in the match.

That was really cool, thanks for sharing no doubt... but are we just going to pretend we didn't watch Shannon dance the jig in his break technique at the start of the vid? I can appreciate that too:thumbup:

He also played his head on the table in prayer it went far enough

The intro alone is worth it's weight in gold to view thanks to Shannon

cool...thanks for the direct input, all.

Hope I toughen up and click the link.

Pat Fleming is THE MAN!

Pretty cool stuff. Nice find. Then again, when I opened the thread I was expecting to see a one pocket match from the 1950's between Danny DiLiberto and Irving Crane.

Interesting that the field size in the inaugural DCC 1-pocket was about 150. Times have changed.

Thank You!

I was looking for a match with Danny a few days ago after listening to him commentate. This was a great one.

Thanks a bunch!

gotta train them!

I got to 7:21 before my desk summoned me.

WTF do these people think I am here for?

hahahaha

My penchant for petting the pooch after lunchtime on Fridays was so well known that my boss would apologize if he brought me work!

Not only is it a great match ( even though neither player was in their prime ),
but the commentary is classic !
Billy Incardona and Bill 'Weenie Beenie' Staton !
They were great !

Excellent first game! Billy I. and Billy S. (Weenie Beenie) meld well together in the booth, both adding to each other's commentary. Along with Billy J. (Billy Johnson, aka Wade Crane) we have three Billy's appearing here!

THis is a terrific look at two veteran players at the tail end of their careers. Danny would have been in his early 60's here and Wade in his mid 50's. They could both still come with it though, testament to how great they truly were in their prime.

Only one missed shot in this game, when Danny hurriedly gets down on the six ball and misses it. Notice how he rushes into his stance on this one shot. He doesn't look quite right in his set-up and subsequently hits it bad. It looks like he was in a hurry to end the game and simply rushed the shot, that he should have made easily.
